About this cabin rental
Located in Murphy NC, just 10 minutes from Downtown Murphy in a peaceful and tranquil setting, this beautiful real log cabin has a hot tub, internet, air Hockey, BBQ grill, huge covered deck area, spacious loft area, fully equipped kitchen with all the necessities to prepare all the daily meals, private bathroom for the master bedroom, beautiful real wood floors and cathedral ceilings, paved roads and easy access, fireplace, excellent setting in the NC mountains. Cabin is tastefully decorated with a huge loft area with an Amish made bunk bed and a sofa bed. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has a queen sized bed. Comes with satellite TV with HBO included, boardgames, linens and towels are provided. Come enjoy this peaceful mountain area and yet still have the luxury of a modern home. Hot spa and pool table are new. The cabin sleeps 8, but it is perfect for 3 couples traveling together or for an extra spacious romantic get-away. We accept Visa & MC
Location: Murphy is a small mountain town snuggled into the rugged Nantahala National Forest in the southwest corner of North Carolina, and is the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and neighboring Pisgah National Forest. Murphy's spectacular, age-old, Appalachian setting provides gift shopping and an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day life.
The cabin is located in the beautiful and romantic Arrowhead mountain, just 7 miles west of Downtown Murphy. The roads leading to the cabin are paved and well maintained. Easy access to the main highway. The parking is safe. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. you will enjoy the hot tub in a large deck surrounded by gorgeous woods and a great view. WiFi Inernet, Pool table available for late night entertainment along with board games and a BBQ grill. You will enjoy a peaceful setting with no neighbors and a hot tub that is operational 365 days a year.
Spacious living quarters: One of the things you will enjoy about this cabin is the spacious living areas. This 1500 sq feet cabin has an enormous loft area, all wood, with windows to the outside to enjoy the view. the loft area has an Amish made bunk-bed and a sofa bed to accommodate extra guests. The covered deck area has a hot tub to relax and enjoy nature at its finest. There is a gas BBQ. The rooms are comfortable with all the furniture needed for an extended stay. The beds are new and are super comfortable. Everything in the house is new.
Activities: The Smoky Mountains offers a wide range of activities. Whitewater rafting in the Ocoee (site of 1996 Olympics), just a short 15 minute drive, and enjoy the excitement of rafting class 3 and 4 rapids. The Nantahala river offers class 2 and 3 rapids. Ducktown canoeing is also a short 15 to 20 minute drive. The Smoky Mountain railroad offers great views of the Smokies. Rent a pontoon boat or Jet Skis in one of Western Carolina's beautiful lakes. Hike or mountain bike one of our many trails and enjoy nature. See the waterfalls of the Western Carolina. Enjoy a first class casino. Visit Chattanooga, TN, a short and lovely 85 minute drive. Golf the challenging and beautiful gold club in Murphy, a short 15 minute drive. The visitors center in Murphy offers many brochures in order to plan your stay more effectively.

The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly. The cabin is clean. I loved all of the Native American decor. The beds and furniture are comfortable. It does have a hot tub but we didn’t take time to use it. We enjoyed going to the Field of the Wood. The deck in the back of the cabin is very nice with comfortable seating. The cabin overall is traditional and beautiful looking. If you want a peaceful stay, this is the place for you. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Let me start by saying the cabin was beautiful. A few small issues that I feel should be corrected. The BBQ grill needs to be replaced, it was falling apart. The closet in the spare bedroom was locked so guest had no place for their clothes. The toaster did not work. The fire pit was not prepared for us, if we had used it we would have burned the cabin down. 12 miles to closet town.
