The Thai Modern Resort & Spa is a cluster of bungalows in a beautiful garden. The apartment is large, it is quiet and the bed is comfortable (the A/C is a bit noisy). There is also a terrace in which you can chill. The staff is very polite (as usual in SE Asia).
The location is rather far from anything else. It is good for the peace and quiet, but you will need a means of transport. It isn't easy to find a taxi willing to take you there or pick you up. We had to rent a car of our own.
