The Yeates Schoolhouse is nothing short of exquisite! The craftsmanship of the school restoration, performed by the owner and his family, is a breathtaking example of fine detail, repurposing every possible piece of lumbar, and a color palate that is soothing and comforting. Everything you need is in the house, and the owner is helpful and inviting. Hermann and Washington Missouri are close by, with over 30 wineries and distilleries in the area to visit. The schoolhouse has ample parking as opposed to some of the guest houses in Hermann which would not have accommodated our large trucks, trailers and motorcycles. Treat yourself to the experience of Yeates Schoolhouse and Missouri Wine country!

From the check-in to checkout this place was perfect. The accommodations we couldn’t have asked for more the solitude we had on Friday night looking at the stars on the back patio was awesome. It was far enough away from Herman Missouri we didn’t hear a bunch of people or traffic. We will be back. The host was very responsive.

The school house exceeded our expectations in the following areas: presentation ,cleanliness and location. The decor was exceptional and they even did holiday decorating (pumpkins and corn stalks). The host was great to work with and made it a great experience. It is located in an area with several wineries. There is plenty to do or stay at the place and enjoy the view! I hope to come back and enjoy with friends!

The school house was adorable! Shower was amazing, outdoor space was breathtakingly beautiful! It was the perfect place to relax after a day in Hermann with all the tourists. The Host was extremely helpful with wonderful recommendations for shopping, restaurants and activities.
