About this house rental
Free Covered Boat Slip, Fire Pit, and New Renovations in Fall 2024!! Come and be our guests in beautiful Cumberland County Kentucky for your next getaway. We have just finished a Fire Pit with a gravelled 20X20 Foot sitting area with 12 chairs for Fall of 2024!! I only stock with high quality seasoned firewood. Almost exclusively Oak and HIckory. We have New Furnishings & Renovations throughout for 2024. We installed Waterproof flooring throughout, new Paint throughout, and New toilets. New furnishings and decorations throughout the house as well. New Bedding/linens, utensils, etc. are stocked in this house along with upgraded Fiber Optic WIFI & Mesh Wireless Modem for a great signal around the house and basement. The cabin sits on 8.5 Acres with plenty of parking for trailers and a sloping fenced pasture in back surrounded by a treeline beyond. Relax and enjoy the evening sunset on the connected back deck/carport/front porch while grilling dinner on our 2023 Large Weber Propane Grill. We have 2 47 Inch LED TV's w/ You Tube TV (with expanded Sports Package) and Roku Access for any channels you wish to watch so you can enjoy the race or game after a day on the lake. Additional Living Room area in the basement is great for the kids that would like to hang out by themselves or play video games or watch their favorite channels. The property is less than a city block from the Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park Gate, Golf Course, and the State Park Marina. 12Ft.X24Ft. COVERED Boat slip included Free with your stay! We are also Approx. 20 Min. from the 2 nearest boat ramps with access to the Cumberland River where the State Record Brown Trout was caught near the Burkesville Public Boat Ramp. The closest Lake Cumberland Marina is Approx. 30 MInutes away (Grider Hill) or 40 Minutes away For Beaver Creek Dam Public Ramp.
We do allow dogs for an additional $100.00 Fee. From the end of May to the first of August our place is only available for weekly reservations from Saturday to Saturday for our guests planning their yearly family vacations. The rest of the late Spring/Summer months are 3 Day stay minimum and most of the rest of the year is a 2 Day minimum stay. Until someone books through VRBO our phone numbers/contact info is redacted. The house was clean, comfortable, quiet and close to the state park lodge and marina. Todd was very welcoming and responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

This home hit my 3 C’s. Cute comfortable and Clean! We spent more time in the house because it turned cool and we were all happy. We had 3 generations Great- Grandma, grandparents and teenage grandkids. They had a lower level to themselves and all we heard was laughing coming up the steps. We sat upstairs in comfort with a recliner for each of us. Grilled out a couple of times on a nice grill and ate outside at the tables it was perfect. Sat on the back porch and watched it rain. It was peaceful and we got much needed relaxation. Very clean and I am not easy to impress but very nice. So helpful to have a boat slip included.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and we have enjoyed it both times!! Communication is perfect and everything was clean and comfortable! I’m sure we will visit again!
