The Villa is a charming oriental style villa in the most prestigious area of Marrakech "Amelkis", in the heart of the O'Liveraie residential area, a few hundred meters from the clubhouse of the Amelkis golf course. If you want to wake up to stunning mountain views then this Villa is for you. The sound of birdsongs is the usual wake-up call with the sun coming up over the mountains & flooding the rooms with light.
The house is very attractive for a holiday with family & friends or Golfers thanks to its manicured private garden running around the property, a large swimming pool, 3 terraces for outdoor lunch & dinner as well as sun lounging.
The villa has been lovingly furnished with modern & antique pieces sourced in Morocco. All the furniture has been sourced locally & is a mix of antique & modern to reflect the workmanship found in Morocco.
The secluded private garden is filled with birdsong & colourful plants with lawned areas on which to relax. Sun-loungers & Straw umbrellas allow you to relax in the sun, a large table & chairs invite you to enjoy our Traditional in house Moroccan meals. A bespoke fountain created in Morocco plays in the garden.
The front door opens into a large open welcoming gallery with a water fountain & all the living & bedrooms leading off to either side.
All bedrooms have air-conditioning.
The sitting & dining rooms, although open plan have a working open fireplace.
The sitting & bedrooms have floor to ceiling windows which open out onto the terrace areas with those spectacular views of the mountains.
The kitchen is modern & has all mod cons including a coffee making machine, microwave, citrus squeezer & toaster.
We have supplied enough cutlery, crockery & glassware to meet your daily needs.
The house has 6 bedrooms 5 of which have en suites. We have supplied the villa with sufficient linen, duvets, pillows, towels to suit all needs from sun-bathing & hair-towels to bath sheets & hand towels.
We have anticipated the changes in weather, YES it does get cold in the winter months, so there are throws for your comfort & convenience.
At night, there is no light pollution so the sky is very dark & the stars feel so close that you could almost pick them out of the sky. It is not uncommon to watch your own spectacluar shooting star show while enjoying a glass or two of wine.
On your arrival you will receive traditional Moroccan Mint Tea!
For transfers to & from the airport, we can recommend our good friend Ismail who runs Belmandani Tours he & his competent drivers & modern Mercedes Viano Vito vehicles can be relied on to get you to & from villa in & around Marrakech or further afield to explore Morocco to the full. He is completely trustworthy & speaks several languages including Spanish, English & French. The heart of Marrakech which feels like a world away with is vibrant Medina & lifestyle is only just 10 mins drive from the villa.
Morocco offers a myriad of things to do from the total "not doing anything" to let's go zip-riding or hang-gliding, golf or even skiing. So if you are adventurous or more cautious there is always something to keep you busy. The moods of the mountains are constantly changing ranging from the snow topped peaks in the winter months through to massive thunderstorms with great flashes of lightening, from the bright green of spring to the deep reds of the summers. The earth coloured Berber villages nestling into the mountainsides are barely visible to the naked eye but they are all around clustered onto the steepest slopes. The Berber people themselves are incredibly friendly & delightful. Make friends with them & you will be invited into their homes to meet their families & learn about their lives. But why restrict yourselves to just one area, break your visit into two destinations & spend time in the bustle of Marrakech or by the seaside at Essouira or Meknes the fertile area that produces fruit, vegetables, wine & roses. Or even visit the desert & take a camel ride, Quad biking & spend time in a Berber tent. There is so much to try and discover in this amazing country.

We rented the villa for 8 people so our family could mee up in Marrakesh. My son and his partner were travelling on Morocco and drove there in their converted van, my daughter and her partner fly in from Manchester and my elder son and his partner flew from Stansted with us. We had some specific requirements namely, my son had his dog travelling with him and also needed to park his van on the premises to house the dog and access their van. I booked well in advance (Oct 24) for our stay in Jan 25. I clarified all the details with the owner via the website. A week before we travelled we received an email detailing things like the address. This also stated no pets and on street parking. When I queried this with the owner although she was quick to respond she was blaming the portal for not picking this up and seemed annoyed at my query. Apparently she was aware the dog was coming and clarified we could park the van on the driveway. Guests are also required to read the menu for meals at the villa and book in advance and pay in advance. It does state that all meals are to be paid in advance. When I questioned this, as we did not know what meals (other than the first night) we would want in the villa, she said we could let the cook know about further meals and pay at the villa. The cost of meals is frankly exorbitant 8 breakfasts for 7 days and 1 evening meal for 8 was over 1000. The food was good but not that good. Needless to say we ate out, cooked ourselves or ordered takeaway

The house is very spacious and a great family vacation. We were looking for convenience to golf courses, which Villa Jude has - we could walk to the clubhouse at the Almelkis course, and several others are a short drive - and did not want ot be directly in the medina with a group of 8 that included grandchildren. The house is in a luxury development a little outside the medina, and can be challenging to find on your own, but it is only a 15-20 minute drive to get to the medina or the central part of the new city. The owner was very responsive and made great recommendations for us.
The house has a full-time attendant who lives there and is very helpful and keeps everything clean and organized. Through the owner, we arranged for a cook for breakfast each day and about half the lunches and dinners and she was fabulous and very helpful overall. Also through the owner, we booked Ismail, an independent driver with a van, for the week and he was always available for us, including arranging for guides wherever we needed them. If he is available, I would highly recommend booking him and relying on his services and recommendations. He knows the house and location, works seamlessly with the house attendant and the cook, and was really helpful. The support staff made the week enjoyable and provided the flexibility to do whatever anyone wanted.
We all had a great time and felt very comfortable all week. Thanks so much to the owner and the helpful staff.

We had a family of nine stay over the Christmas holiday, the staff was fantastic, food served in the house superb...
House is conveniently located from Marackesh on golf course with Amman hotel that has fantastic restaurant
