About this house rental

Charming authentic 18th century country house carefully restored, with a traditional "Mâconnais gallery", housing the owner's stables (apart from it), nestled in a quiet area on the edge of his "equestrian arena" & a pasture welcoming his horses in season. On the edge of a lane, a stone's throw from the vineyards, in the heart of a small typical & commercial village (11th century Romanesque church, 18th century four-arched stone bridge...), nestled on the banks of the Guye at the foot of a vast wild forest massif with a literal "Sea of Stones" (geological curiosity made up of several clearings of granite blocks of all sizes over nearly a kilometer). Soothing gentle rolling countryside surroundings combining magnificent bocage, ponds, woods & rivers, offering various panoramic "belvederes" (up to Mont-Blanc on a clear day!). Spacious gîte with very good comfort. Warm country charm with contemporary accents, enhanced by the rich traces of the original building (floor tiles, fireplace mantel, beams & ceilings, stone wall, etc.) as well as by unusual "panoramic skylights" overlooking the stables & horses! Plenty of charm. Ultra cozy & comfortable. Soft & refined atmosphere. Exposed & shaded terrace overlooking a natural garden including a 6-seater outdoor spa & pétanque court. Pleasant unobstructed view. Composition: House including the owner's private stables. Wi-Fi (fiberglass). Heat pump heating. Air conditioning. 1st floor (level access from the parking lot): kitchen-living room, living room, 3 bedrooms with TV (double bed 160x200cm / 2 x 2 single bunk beds 90x190cm / double bed 140x190cm), bathroom (bathtub + shower), 2 separate toilets. Ground floor: 3 bedrooms with TV, including 1 for disabled access (double bed 160x200cm / double bed 140x190cm / double bed 160x200cm), disabled access bathroom (shower), separate disabled access toilet. Sheltered balcony + terrace + outdoor spa for 6 people (paying "except" June to September) + pétanque court + field + bicycle storage + private parking. Mini-market 5 km. Supermarket 9 km. Charming authentic country farm dating from the 18th century, steeped in history and carefully restored - featuring among other things an "outdoor spa" (chargeable outside the 4 summer months / June to September) & a pétanque court - flanked by the owner's private stables housing his peaceful horses, nestled in the peace and quiet in the heart of a small, typical & commercial village, 9 km from the charming medieval town of Saint-Gengoux-le-National, a "Cluniac site" labeled "Cities of Character of Burgundy-Franche-Comté" (very many amenities on site including a supermarket). In the heart of unspoiled countryside, a stone's throw from the first vineyards, nestled in the hollow of the gentle Guye valley, a soothing hilly setting combining bucolic hedged fields, rivers, vineyards & vast wild forests (largely protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" & "ZNIEFF" for its rich ecosystems). Ultra-privileged location, at the crossroads of the Côtes Chalonnaises & Mâconnais vineyards, adjoining the "Burgundy Wine Route" (extended by the illustrious "Route des Grands Crus" crossing the legendary wine-growing villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault, etc.), ideally located on the routes of the Romanesque churches circuit, a marked "green walk" hiking trail (very rich network of similar hiking trails to explore in the surrounding area) & a marked cycle route connected to Eurovélo6 (along the famous Canal du Centre), 3 km from the GR7 (joining the GR76), close to three referenced "Coup de cœur cycle loops" (all accessible within a radius of around fifteen km, the first of which is 8 km away) & 10 km from the Green Way of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud". Central location of choice in the very heart of southern Burgundy, on the borders of Charolais-Brionnais (labeled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") & Chalonnais, at the crossroads of Tournugeois-Clunisois (labeled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") & Mâconnais, splendid preserved territories, all rich in sublime landscapes, renowned gastronomy and a literally exceptional heritage. Ideal for easy travel: 10 km from the medieval village of Mont-Saint-Vincent (one of the most beautiful sites in Burgundy with a literally unique 360° panoramic "belvedere"), 26 km from Le Creusot (renowned Combes amusement park / Creusot TGV station 18 km away), 30 km from the illustrious abbey city of Cluny, 31 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "Town of Art and History"), 32 km from Tournus, 38 km from Charolles, 51 km from Paray-le-Monial (famous city of the "sacred heart"), 51 km from the sumptuous landscaped jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson (labeled "Grand Site de France"), 53 km from Autun (labeled "Town of Art and History" & its exceptional heritage rich in more than 2000 years of human presence) & 53 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 52 km away). A change of scenery & very elegant charming resort nestled "in the heart of the village", to recharge your batteries with your family! A "surprise" & curiosity awaits all horse lovers there!
