Recent modern villa (8 people) with sea view and private swimming pool, near Nazaré

We had a great stay! Perfect place to enjoy your holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic villa. The property is stunning, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The villa is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it feel like a home away from home. One thing to note is that the villa is a bit secluded, which adds to its charm if you enjoy peace and quiet. However, it does mean that having a car is essential to get around and explore the surrounding area. Additionally, the location is quite windy, which can be refreshing, especially during the warmer months, but it's something to be aware of. Overall, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-appointed holiday retreat.

The house is even more stunning than the online presence suggests, is very well appointed and in a pristine location overlooking the beautiful landscape and the ocean. The owners as well as the caretakers were extremely forthcoming and helpful. Looking forward to visit again!

First the POSITIVE: Beautiful home with an incredible view. Lots of space, wonderful furnishings. Local managers are responsive and helpful when we asked about pool temperature (too cold to use most days), beach towels (locked up and unavailable), bike condition (broken and un usable). Note the listing also indicates a clothes dryer is available - but is is not functional. The NEGATIVE: "Musty, stale smell" (from the basement presumably) so penetrates the house that the smell is always present. Dehumidifier is in hallway near basement, but is not functional. Electrical panel near front door is apparently under repair with wires hanging out and the covers on the floor. Not sure why, but clearly there are problems and they have not bothered to repair prior to our rental. This is just not acceptable or proper for a rental of this caliber! IMG_1926.jpg Fresh air in the home would help, but because there are no window or door screens to keep the mosquitos and flies out, as a result, they inundate the house making it impossible to enjoy the indoors or outdoors. There are no fans to move the air, so it is hot, muggy and miserable at night. Sleep is nearly impossible due to the non-stop barking of three neighbor dogs contained in kennel and chained in back yard of neighboring house barking non-stop 20 hours per day, so using the pool, deck or rooms with open windows is impossible. BOTTOM LINE: would not recommend.
