About this house rental
Coconut Cabana is a private waterfront home on White Sound, Green Turtle Cay in the Abaco Bahamas. You are renting the entire house with no on-site host to bother you but, an on-Island manager will assist with any needs you have. The private house is surrounded by tropical plants, a screened porch with seating and outdoor dining that overlooks beautiful White Sound adjacent to The Bluff House Yacht Club. As a private part of a resort, you have use of all the amenities of the resort including a swimming pool and pool side bar and restaurant, beach, beach bar, access to paddle ball.
The designer decorated home has an open floor plan for easy entertaining inside or out with a fully equipped large country kitchen. The two identical master suites are tropically decorated with private baths and all linens and towels are provided. You have full use of our washer and dryer. We also have a back-up battery system in case the power goes out.
Coconut Cabana’s dock is 80’ with dockage on both sides for small boats. We have water to the dock but no power. White Sound is an active harbor with lots of boats to watch. The water ferry can deliver you right to your private dock or Bluff House ferry dock depending on water depth.
Coconut Cabana is as front and center on White Sound on quite Green Turtle Cay.
Town in approximately 3/4 mile from Coconut Cabana by boat and about 1.5 miles by golf cart.
Ocean, reefs, ocean beaches, deserted islands, the best restaurants are all within walking distance or a short cart ride from Coconut Cabana.

Very nice property in a great location. Dock access was easy for 35 ft boat. Enjoyed our stay and all communication was very good and responsive.

Clean, convenient and everything the listing said. If arriving by boat the dock is tucked back just before the Boathouse (yellow) restaraunt and marina. Plenty of space. Della that runs the property will contact you and can be reached easily. The houses 2 bedrooms are identical which is awesome if sharing.

The home was actually better than listed. Two perfectly sized masters with ensure, large kitchen, large sitting/TV room, great screened in porch. I spent each morning sitting on the dock reading and enjoying the breeze and sunrise. House had great A/C and Della helped with all the details during our stay. HOSTS were great with details prior to our stay. Right next to Bluff House Resort - breakfast and dinner, and Tranquil Turtle (and beach) is a 4 minute walk, 2 minute golf cart. Loved our trip!!!

Oven was either broken or not hooked up, probably the latter because it looked like it had never been used. Unfortunately, and beyond the owners control, almost an entire house was built outside the front door every day but Christmas and the day after. Washer and dryer worked great! LED lighting was mixed in with other bulbs which compromised the ambiance. The sunporch was especially nice! Sadly, I left my hand-painted sun hat on a hook by the front door. Della (the lovely Manager) is on a Search and Rescue for it. We had a great time!
