About this house rental
Jurassic Shark sits in the heart of Port Aransas inside the Beachway Community, a 12-unit
development of newly built coastal homes. This 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath house holds up to nine
guests and is built for groups who want the space to cook, spread out, and stay a while without
feeling crowded.
The main floor opens into a bright, connected living and kitchen area. Large windows along the
front bring in natural light, and the flat-screen TV with streaming and cable makes the living
room worth staying in even on a rainy afternoon. The kitchen is fully stocked with brand-new
stainless steel appliances, an under-counter ice maker, wine glasses, and a large pantry. A half
bath is off the kitchen, and a back door opens directly to the pool area.
All three bedrooms are upstairs along with three full bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a
king bed, ensuite bath, and TV. The second bedroom also has a king bed and a TV. The third
bedroom has a king bed and a full bed separated by a partial wall, giving each occupant some
distance. This room has a private balcony and its own ensuite bath. Towels, bed linens, and
soap are provided.
For cooking, the kitchen goes beyond basics: it includes a coffee maker, baking sheet, toaster,
wine glasses, and a full set of barbecue tools with a charcoal grill set up in the outdoor pool
area. The dining table seats the group, and there is additional seating along the kitchen bar.
Out back, the fenced-in pool area is completely private. Teal Adirondack chairs and a stretch of
turf lawn give you a comfortable outdoor base. The rooftop deck, accessed from the second
floor, gives a clear view toward the Gulf and is one of the more popular spots in the house at
sunset. Pool heating to 80-85 degrees is available on request for an added fee.
Wi-Fi and cable are included throughout. There is a dedicated workspace in the home, and
Jurassic Shark is one of the few Beachway units that accepts long-term stays of 28 days or
more, making it a practical option for extended work trips.
Self check-in is handled via keypad. Free parking for up to three cars in assigned spaces on the
property.
The Beachway Community is located behind La Playa restaurant and next to Port Aransas High
School, placing it in the middle of the island's main activity strip. Dozens of restaurants, bars,
and shops are within walking distance, and the beach is approximately 0.75 miles away, an
easy walk or a quick ride on a rented golf cart.
Everything you need for a comfortable group stay is in this house, and the central Port Aransas
location means less time driving and more time enjoying the island.
BONUS: This community is perfect for large groups as it consists of 12 units, each with its private pool!
The guest has access to the entire home. Our community is golf cart-friendly!

Our family always visits Port A at the end of July and previously stayed in a home rented by TX Vacation Rentals and loved it. We were excited to stay in this newer build and it is just as beautiful as the pictures. The property was quiet even being so close to bars and restaurants and a nice walking distance to them and a close beach. The private pool was great for our kids as well. One thing I'd say is to bring your own pillows and and extra TP. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner on days we didn't go out. Thanks for a great time!

Nice, clean and comfy! Too bad there were no sharks in Jurassic Shark! The only negative, is the parking.

Great property for a family get away or a weekend fishing trip with friends.Conviently located to restaurants and bars. Parking can be a little crowded but I would stay here again for sure.
