Welcome to Happy Lee Ever After, a charming, pet-friendly 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom bayside retreat on Dauphin Island. Perfectly situated on the waterfront and boat-friendly, this cozy beach house offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway.
Step inside to a bright and open common area that features a fully equipped kitchen with a peninsula for meal prep and serving. The spacious living room offers comfortable seating with two recliners, two chairs, and a couch, all oriented to take in the stunning bay views through large windows. The dining area seats six, making it perfect for gathering with family and friends.
Down the hallway, you'll find the Master Bedroom suite with a queen bed, closet, TV, and private bathroom. The en-suite bathroom features a shower-tub combo and a single vanity with ample counter space. The dorm-style bedroom offers a full bed and two twin beds, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for additional guests. The common bathroom includes a shower stall with a convenient vertical handrail.
Outside, a covered front porch with comfortable seating overlooks the bay, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy the scenery. Stairs lead down to the spacious backyard and a covered outdoor living area beneath the house, complete with a wooden bench, Adirondack chair, two rocking chairs, and a large bench for relaxing in the shade.
Located on Cadillac Ave, Happy Lee Ever After is just a short distance from local stores and restaurants. With its prime position facing Graveline Bay and Bayou Second, this tranquil, pet-friendly home provides an ideal setting for your Dauphin Island escape. Whether you're fishing, boating, or simply unwinding by the water, Happy Lee Ever After promises a memorable stay for both you and your furry companions.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following house rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission. Only dogs, must be approved by insurance policy— 2-Pet Maximum Limit - $100 pet fee per pet plus tax.

Property is dated but very comfortable and clean. The stove probably needs to be replaced as the eyes don’t sit properly. A good coat of paint could really bring this property up a notch. Overall we had a great time of fishing off the dock and caught quite the haul. Thank you for a wonderful time of fishing and family time even though it rained a lot we still had a great time.

Comfy rooms and well-stocked kitchen, fabulous view and pet-friendly, the cottage was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate fall break and an early Thanksgiving meal with family.Close to great restaurants and to Holiday Isle, where our grandkids were staying. Watching the birds in the early morning and listening to the fish jump in the evening were two of my favorite thing to do.

We had such a lovely time! The home was clean and comfortable and pet friendly! We had everything we needed. The view is beautiful. The back deck is a perfect place for morning coffee and the pier was nice to sit on and just relax! Quiet area very close to everything. Our kids were home from college and we just wanted a long weekend away to relax and that’s exactly what we did. Everything about the process was easy as well.

Great location and very clean! Pet friendly and plenty of space. Unfortunately, the seasonal termites had no problem getting into the home through the underside of the door on the last day of our stay. The door is not sealed and the home ended up infested with hundreds of flying termites. The rental company said this was normal so I would prepare ahead of time during the termite seasons.
