About this house rental
You rent a BUNGALOW to an individual. It is air conditioned, with a living area of 28m2, plus a terrace of 10m2. Perfectly maintained, the bungalow is located in a quiet housing estate (no waking up to the rooster crowing). Well ventilated, it is close to the owner's home. He is alone and completely independent. The property is completely fenced. No hassle for parking, it is private and secure, closed by an electric gate.
PRIVATE POOL - SOLARIUM - Exclusively reserved for the tenants of the bungalow. Fresh water, 3X6m, maximum depth 1.60m, equipped with hydro massage bath and aquagym, access by staircase serving as beaches, hidden from the vicinity and secured by wooden claustras panels of 1.80m around.

IT IS IDEAL FOR A COUPLE WITHOUT CHILDREN.
You will be offered on arrival: 1 bottle of homemade maracudja punch (very good feedback from our tenants) beware alcohol abuse is dangerous, 1st breakfast, 1 basket of local fruits, 1 composition of tropical flowers, and the TV magazine of the week.
The bungalow is built in red Brazilian wood, with a total surface of 38m2, including a main room with a bed of 180x200, with mosquito net, and a sofa bed of 140. An Lcd TV with sat channel decoder and a DVD player. A wardrobe with chest. This room is air conditioned.
- A bathroom with shower, sink and WC.
- An American kitchen with a large flat pass to the terrace. Equipped with a microwave, a mini oven, 2 electric ceramic hobs, a 140 liter tip-top fridge with a preservative tray, 2 storage units, top and bottom. ( See photos )
- A 10m2 terrace, with a table and 2 chairs for the dining area, and two relax armchairs for relaxation and rest, with a view of the garden which is planted with tropical plants and flowers, as well as sugar dispensers for birds (hummingbirds, sugar bowls ...). (See photos)
DETAILED EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED WITH RENTAL INFORMATION.
Additional services: Sheets, towels and swimming pool, tea towels, provided, change every week. The bungalow has a safe and is covered by the WIFI system - The television with a screen of 82 cms receives Satellite channel (50 channels), except channel + - You can have a GPS available with the cartography of Guadeloupe. Possibility of cleaning at the end of the stay, 40 euros for 1 week, 60 euros for 2/3 weeks.
DEGRESSIVE RATES - Beyond the first week, we apply a REDUCTION OF 20% ON THE PRICE OF THE FOLLOWING WEEKS.

We have had a fabulous holiday,Bernard and Josiane have been the perfect hosts, they put up Christmas lights and a mini tree and on New Year’s Eve we came back to find a bottle of champagne on ice and a happy new year’s message. They left a beautiful flower arrangement on our outdoor dining table and invited us into their home for aperitifs the night before we left . They were unobtrusive but always immediately attentive for anything we wanted to ask.
The bungalow was a home from home with every detail thought of.
We have climbed into rainforest and sat in thermal pools, sailed into the sunset on Christmas Day and lazed on white sand ,palm fringed beaches beside an azure sea under a cerulean sky, paradise in every sense of the word and worth every single one of the 4,004 miles that we travelled to reach here from mid Wales Uk. Thank you for the holiday of a lifetime Bernard and Josiane !

We enjoyed the solitude of this villa very much. There is plenty of floor space, perfect for keeping organized and clean. The kitchen is open to the covered deck that made cooking our meals a pleasure. The covered deck we used a lot in the evenings and it allowed us to be outside when it rained. There is a second larger deck with an outside pool that is really nice. We could relax there and watch the stars. Bernard and Josiane were great hosts. They are next door if we needed any help. They have a very nice neighbor, Claudie, who helped translate for us when we first arrived since we don't speak French. This is the first time we stayed on Basse-Terra side of the island. It was a good location for access to the Carbet Waterfalls for hiking. It's about a 30 minute drive to Trois Rivers where twice we rode a ferry to Terra de Haut and toured Fort Nepoleon. That's a great site to see. We highly recommend this villa to those seeking quiet solitude and a peaceful setting.

The property lived up to all our expectations. It was very well equipped, had everything we needed and we felt very much at home. Our hosts were very warm and friendly and we coped well even though my French was a bit rusty. They were there when we needed advice but never intruded. There were good up to date guide books and leaflets which we were able to read and they gave us some good ideas of where to visit.
