About this riad rental
In excluded Magnificent Riad completely rebuilt with heated pool, which is perfect for groups of friends or families. You will be seduced by its mix of modernity and authenticity, located 400 meters from Bahia Palace and 7 minutes walk from Jemaa El Fna Square in a quiet area in the heart of the Medina.
The riad has been tastefully decorated.
It features:
- A large room downstairs loft style with a heated pool in the center of the patio, living room and kitchen overlooking the pool
- 4 air-conditioned rooms with TV and bathroom, they all have a decoration and a different style
- A terrace on the top floor to relax in the cocktail hour overlooking the Koutoubia and the Atlas.
- A flat-screen TV (satellite) lounge with wifi and internet.
Full Kitchen:
Senseo coffee machine and a Nespresso available (pod to predict), oven, microwave, food processor, blender etc ...
Bedrooms :
TV, USB drive with movies, hair dryer, linens provided
Living room :
LCD TV with satellite bein Sport + French TNT channel
terrace:
seat furniture, chairs, shower, barbecue, washing machine
housekeeping:
Daily cleaning is offered. Meriem happen daily at the Riad to your rooms and clean Riad.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is not included in the rental price. If you wish it can be served every morning with a supplement of 6 euros per person per day to pay directly on site (free for children under 10 years)
You will have access to the entire Riad (equipped kitchen, washing machine, iron ...).
Surcharge, Meriem can prepare very good Moroccan specialties.
You will be welcomed by Hassan, Meriem either by ourselves with tea and cookies you want to welcome the Riad Melilo. We advise you to stay.
We remain reachable 24h / 24h during your stay.
The Neighborhood:

10 meters from the riad you will find a grocery store, a barber shop and other shops.
2 paid car parks available at 50 meters
Airport transfer option: (to be paid directly to the taxi)
ARRIVAL: (a bit more expensive because the taxi has to wait at the airport)
Day rate: 15 euros each way for 6 people
Night rate: 20 euros each way for 6 people

This is a review of Riad l’Empire, which is managed / owned by the same people. Reason the review is against this Riad is that we booked Riad Melilo, but for unforeseen circumstances this Riad had to be shut during August. We were offered Riad l’ empire as an alternative. Probably a bit pointless describing the property as it won’t relate to the pictures, but we had a fabulous time, and can’t recommend enough. Leila and Aziza were fantastic hosts - Aziza’s breakfasts were terrific, and Leila was on hand to help with organising day trips and generally guiding us through what can be an overwhelming city. The Riad was an oasis of air conditioned calm among the hustle and bustle, and the roof terrace is a fantastic space to gaze over the city. Terrific value, and if we’re ever back in Marrakech, this Riad will be at the top of our list. David, Emma, Oliver and Chloe

Fantastic Riad in Marrakesh. An oasis of calm in the chaos of the city. The place is extremely clean and given a daily once over by the lovely husband and wife team of Hassan and Meriem. We would recommend having the breakfast - a royal way to start the day. We also had a delicious evening meal made for us on one evening. 4 spacious en-suite bedrooms and a roof terrace. Walking distance to most sites. Property manager was extremely helpful and organised transfers and a private guide for us.

This Riad exceeded our expectations! Plenty of room for our family of 5. Stayed cool and pleasant despite 105 degrees outside. Manager was very helpful, arranging transport to and from airport and Casablanca. Breakfast was delicious and well worth the nominal extra fee. Location in the Medina was great, just a 10 minute walk to the main square.

Our Riad in the heart of the medina can only be described as an oasis of calm.
It was beautifully renovated and appointed, leaving nothing to be desired.
We had daily housekeeping which kept the house spotless and a joy to be in.
The bedrooms rooms were spacious, the plunge pool an absolute dream and the roof top terrace a brilliant place to start the day or wind down on after a long day of sight seeing.
Highly recommend this listing!
