Cozy oceanside bungalow in the heart of Acadia National Park. I wanted something remote and private with views/access to water, but still a close drive to check out all the little towns and Acadia National Park. This had everything we needed. Great stay!

Joy is a pleasure to have as a host, this property is located on her family’s homestead, plenty of windows but also plenty of curtains for privacy. WiFi reception was great, there was an extender in the bungalow. You have your own parking space which is in a driveway away from the main road which felt very safe. There are trees on the property causing it to feel secluded from the road and private. The steps to the waterfront were on the other side of the lawn/property and provided for a private entrance to the cove/water. Everything in the bungalow was new, there were a lot of different cooking utensils and a 2-burner induction cooktop. After booking we received a 10 page welcome guide written by the host which has a lot of helpful advice regarding where to eat, hike, and get around, and all the information about checking in and checking out, as well as directions. One thing to note, make sure to use the proper town name as there are multiple similar addresses on the island, and the town name will help you get to the right place. 10/10 would stay here again. :)

What a wonderful little gem! The space is petite but incredibly well designed, with all the comforts you might need, including a surprisingly good little washer/dryer. The studio was immaculate with every inch used thoughtfully a from a functional perspective, but also an eye for beauty. There were large windows around half the cabin that let lots of air and light in and made it feel like “glamping” in the trees because of its location on the larger property. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!!!

We were looking for someplace to get away from busy jobs and slow down. This checked all the boxes. It was so quiet we had to adjust. Location was perfect as it was close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor to allow easy access but far enough away that you never saw the crowds. Hosts were very accommodating.
