Papa Bear Cottage (Downtown Cody)

Great space for two couples, nice front porch and a backyard with a grill. Amy was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Walking distance to downtown. Highly recommend.

We stayed here during the Cody Stampede. The host was responsive and accommodating. The location was great, a very short walk to the downtown shopping area. The playground across the street was very handy since we had a 7 year old with us. The cottage was very clean and beds were comfortable. Towels and washcloths were left for us on the king and queen beds, but not on the twin bed in the third bedroom. We didn’t realize that a 5th towel (which we needed) was stored in the closet until we were departing. It would have been helpful if a towel was left on the twin bed too. Bring your own toiletries. Kitchen supplies were available. The cottage has pretty small rooms but sufficient size for 4 adults and a child. Window air conditioners are used, which was fine but the one in the bedroom with the queen size bed blew across the bed and was a little uncomfortable. My only complaint was the temperature of the hot water. Be aware that it is extremely hot! My husband scalded his foot and 4 days later it was still red.

This is a great place to stay. We had full communication with the host multiple times.

The home was very nice, clean and right downtown. Minutes walk to eat and shop. The owners were wonderful and willing to help in whatever we needed. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.
