About this house rental
This beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated 4BR 2BA home is located just 60 miles from NYC on idyllic Candlewood Lake. Three large bedrooms and one small twin bedroom provide comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to 8 guests. The updated eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare meals. A spacious family room with sectional sofa, large farm table for 8-12, flat-screen with cable and two walls of windows opens to the expansive and furnished deck, complete with a new Weber grill, fire table, and an 8 person hot tub overlooking the lake. Just steps away is your waterfront patio with private dock and direct waterfront lake access. If you feel like staying indoors, the cozy library with stone fireplace with candlelight insert is the perfect place to relax.

Only hypo-allergenic dogs will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and must be approved prior to booking. For the comfort of all of our guests, pets are NOT allowed on furniture, pillows or beds under any circumstances. Failure to comply will incur forfeiture of damage deposit in the amount required to deep clean furniture and pillows, and launder bedding. Thank you for your understanding.
Please be advised: For the safety and security of our property, our neighbors and our guests, we have installed the Ring video doorbell system to monitor the front door and garage door to the house. There is absolutely no monitoring of the inside of the home, nor the outside deck or patio areas. Use of hot tub, kayaks, floating mat and waterfront area are at guests own risk.
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND travel insurance to protect your investment. We regret that we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy due to Covid, weather, or other extenuating circumstances.

House was lovely and well appointed. The decks were used daily and the lake was magnificent! We were 7 ladies on a long weekend getaway and truly had the best trip! House was loaded with all your needs!

We had an amazing time at the lake house. As others have mentioned, the house is extremely well stocked. We appreciated the beach towels, kayaks, floaties and fishing poles! Truly everything you could need or want for a summer vacation on the lake. Lisa was very responsive when I needed help finding the pack and play, and about resolving a minor shower issue. You can tell she has been doing this for years and knows how to ensure visitors have a smooth stay.

We ran into many issues unfortunately . The dishwasher was broken this house was being sold and they had an issue during home inspection it should have been replaced taken out and shoved back in did not work and that caused a leak in the sink so water drained all over the kitchen floor. Definitely an issue with baths you can hear them in the rafters and one got in the house also 130 stairs to get to the water . Too bad as it is a cute house decorated nicely . NEEDS to have REPAIRS Made before you allow it to be rebooked.
