The Woodley House

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in early May of 2026. Salado is a really nice clean little town with great little places to eat nearby. The house is one of many on the property address. We did not know this. They gave us the address but not the house number or how to get into the house. I had to try and contact the owner to get the info. She responded a couple hours later and we got right in. The place is super clean and great for just two people. It says it could host 5 people that would not work out well though. It has just about everything you need and is quite comfortable. There is a ton of nick nacks everywhere in the apartment. They also didn't give us the WIFI info (usually it's easily available right there) so I had to contact the owner who responded the next day. We liked the place and the location (nice neighborhood). The price was pretty reasonable and we probably would stay there again in the future.

Stayed here for golf weekend at mill creek. Great location to course. Stayed in another unit previously and this unit was a lot nicer with great amenities. Will definitely stay here again on next trip to salado.

Took a quick trip to Salado for our anniversary. The Woodley house was a great home-base for quick trips to Belton/Temple, Austin and the lake. We like to escape to Salado every year. This place was a great hideaway - we loved the Easter decorations. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. The place was clean and well equipped. No complaints at all.

The condo was clean and updated and quiet. I did not hear the attached wall neighbors. The location was good in that it was close to the little town of Salado and not far from highway I-35 acess. I did have two problems with checkin. I was driving 10 hours the day of checkin and asked for access process a few days ahead, but was told it would not be given by host till checkin date around noon for 4pm. I had to pull off highway and text host around 3pm after she forgot to message me checkin and then she gave me a wrong adress, which i discovered in a subsequent text. I feel someone at VRBO owes me compensation for all my inconveniences for not getting timely or accurate check in info.
