About this house rental
Cascina Arcangelo Raffaele is a farmhouse made up of several apartments, three of which, Michele, Gabriele and Raffaele, rented to tourists. The property is surrounded by a large garden. The location is strategically located to visit the most renowned places. A few meters from Cascina A. R., along the river, there is a cycle track that leads to Alba in just 20 minutes.
Each apartment is a two-storey open-space, living area, living room entrance, and sleeping area. There are two bathrooms. At the daily price, you must add the tourist tax ranging from € 0.50 to € 1.50 per person, per day, except for children up to 10 years.
Each tourist can access the personal apartment, the garden, front and back, the terrace, front and back, the garage and the laundry. It is good to have the car for travel. The town center is reachable on foot in just 20 minutes. Before the farm there is the bus stop.
RAFFAELE APARTMENT
This property is 75 square meters covering two floors with the sleeping area on the first floor.
The living space is decorated with a mix of modern and country style furniture.

Well maintained & clean apartment. Nice outdoor patio and underground garage parking. We had our breakfast there every morning. Not much is supplied for pantry items. Margherita is responsive & very nice!
Would highly recommend Il Ritrovo Del Giosi restaurant. 20 min away. Beautiful drive there, outstanding views, & delicious meal!

We booked Cascina as part of our three month European tour! We wanted to have a base from which to explore this area and all the lovely wine villages. We also wanted a break from campsites for a week and Margherita was great in ensuring our camper van would be safely parked.
The house is spacious, well equipped and comfortable with a lovely garden and good outside space. Although there is no air conditioning and it was hot Margherita provides fans for the upper and lower floors which were more than adequate
The house has underground parking for ordinary cars (ours too big) and a laundry room for guests to share. You do have to pay for washing which is unusual for self catering 5 star properties but was very useful for us.
We were able to visit some lovely wine villages including Barolo and La Morra however Margherita also left a selection from her own families vineyard in the house (cost very reasonable) for us to try
There was good WiFi which helped us keep in contact with family
You will need a car to stay here as there is little public transport nearby however from Bra you can get a train to Turin which we did easily
In Verduno there are a few restaurants and Margherita recommended one La Catina which we walked to on Sunday. The restaurant served good local food and excellent wine at reasonable cost
We had a lovely week and we’re sorry to leave however I’m sure we will return to this area to explore more and would have no hesitation in recommending this house.
