Cozy, spacious property on the canal and steps away from Houghton Lake. Beds were comfortable, outdoor space was wonderful and the kitchen was well equipped. Property is also close to Higgins Lake State park and lots of restaurants and coffee shops. We loved watching the turtles and fishing from the dock.

This is a spacious home on the canal. The inside of the home was very clean and well depicted by the pictures. The host was very good and instructions for arrival and departure were extremely detailed and made things super smooth. The washer and dryer were great and the kitchen was well appointed. Docking on the channel was super easy and really made the week for our family with much time spent on the lake.

It was very nice & peaceful. Accommodations were nice. We did feel that the cleaning lady could have been more thorough, as it didn’t seem like areas had not been vacuumed.Cob webs, dead bugs, dust, under bedroom nightstands, & bed. I’m not complaining, I’m just hopeful that things in these areas will improve. The owner was super friendly, and responded to us very quickly. We do recommend staying here.

We had the most relaxing week here playing cards, fishing off the dock, and going on our boat to the sandbar daily. The house had everything we needed and then some! The beds were all super comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The host was very welcoming and responsive and even touched base with us on check-in day to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful end of summer vacation!
