You'll be 3.3 miles from Championsgate Golf Club, their enormous clubhouse, pro shop, and bar, and Championsgate Village has a lot of on-site restaurants to dine-in or take out if you’ve already spent a long day at the park and don’t want to venture out too far! And you’ll be nearby all the theme parks and attractions, shopping & outlet malls. Our local restaurant recommendations would be: Sakura Asian, Texas Roadhouse, and Culvers.

The home is about a 30-35 minute drive (28.5 miles|46 km) from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) -- check mobile map apps when you arrive as driving time will vary depending on the time of day. The home is located inside The Shire at West Haven.
Other Things to Note:
Pool & BBQ
- Pool heating is available (Winter only) for $50/day and must cover your full length of stay — just request it at least 7 days before check-in. A BBQ grill is also available for an additional fee; please request it at least 48 hours before arrival. It takes at least 24 hours for the water to reach a comfortable temperature, and the weather conditions might affect the maximum temperature.
What You'll Find When You Arrive
- Paper towels, dish sponge, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, one trash bag in each trash can, and one roll of toilet paper per toilet. Hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner in each full bathroom. Please note these are not replenished during your stay — when you run out, you're welcome to purchase more or have them delivered.
Good to Know Before You Arrive
- Washcloths are not provided. We don't provide condiments or food items due to Florida regulations. You can order your groceries in advance or stop at Walmart or Publix on the way.

- No smoking of any kind inside the home, and no drug use or illegal activity on the premises — a $400 fine applies.
- Please keep noise levels respectful after 10 PM for the sake of neighboring families.
- No parties or events, and no tents or external structures on the property grounds.
- This is a two-story home, so please keep in mind there are stairs to reach the upper level.
- We kindly ask that you avoid moving furniture.

- A quick rental agreement is required upon booking confirmation
- Valid government-issued ID may be requested at check-in or during your stay.

We love this property, this was our 3rd time staying there. We love the wheelchair accessible room on the main floor as well as the kids themed rooms upstairs. We also love the amazing playroom that was great for the kids that ranged 1-6 years old. There was plenty of room for our group of 13 people and would return again!

Nice big house that, just as described, sleeps 13. Clean! Nice laundry room. Large kitchen and family room areas for our group. Plenty of bathrooms. Plenty of dishes which was great for us because we ate all of our meals there. The pots and pans are not great but we made do, and the dishes are nice. Plenty of dishes and glasses. We stayed for a week so it would have been nice to have a better supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. until we had a chance to purchase our own since all of us are from out of town. There was one bath towel per person, only one hand towel per bathroom and no hand soap. Lots of pool towels. Most of the beds are comfortable. The one in the Mario room is completely connected so made a lot of noise when any one staying there moved. Also one on top has to crawl through the other top bunk to get up and down. Probably better for younger kids, mine are young adults. We eventually found the tennis/pickleball courts which we used every day. Communication with the property mgt. was good overall - quick responses, but some of the responses were generic and did not address the questions about this particular property. Would definitely stay there again.

We had several issues with the property, but mostly involved the terrible communication with the property manager (host). In preparation for this trip, we peppered the host with questions about amenities. Every answer we received was either misleading, or completely inaccurate. In the listing, the property states "The pool heating service is onlyavailable from November to the end of April." No fee is mentioned until you book. I challenged this because the wording is misleading, but the host dismissed my concerns. We asked if the property has a Keurig Coffee Maker, the host said "No." And they did have a Keurig on the counter when we arrived. We could have saved money by bringing k-cups from home. We asked if the property has pool toys, and the host said "No, but feel free to bring your own. " And they did have a giant box of pool toys by the pool. Very frustrating, especially after we filled a suitcase full of pool toys and brought it to Florida, unnecessary.Additionally, there was garbage floating in the pool, and also trash in some of the dresser drawers we wanted to use. The property offers one toilet paper paper role per bathroom, and anything beyond that is the guest's responsibility. What bothered us, was the toilet paper roles were partially used and one bathroom's role was almost completely gone. Lastly, there are several signs hanging up around the property about "fees" for this and "fees" for that. It came across as threatening, rather than inviting.
