About this villa rental

Ruime villa in een grote groene tuin met privé zwembad. Op loopafstand van winkel, restaurant en station van Mombaldone. 20 min met de auto van Acqui Terme en Rocco Verano. Perfect voor een grote familie of voor twee gezinnen. Vier slaapkamer, drie badkamers, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en bijkeuken, WIFI, speelgoed en games voor kinderen aanwezig. Honden zijn welkom, de tuin is volledig omheind. Regio: De Piemonte (betekent ‘aan de voetvan de berg’) is een paradijs voor fijnproevers. Hier komen de beste wijnen vandaan, maar ook delicatessen als hazelnoten, kazen, truffelsen speciale pastasoorten. De combinatie van steden zoals Turijn, Milaan en Genua, uitgestrekte heuvels waar je prachtig kan fietsen en wandelen en de stranden van Ligurië op 1 uur afstand, maken dit een ideale locatie voor een heerlijke vakantie!

We had a great stay in this nice, period house in Mombaldone. Lots of space inside and outside, with a nice pool area which was used a lot. The house/garden has lots of potential but could do with a little freshening up. Great communication with Madeline the owner.

Very large property, fully fenced in. So great to let your dog run around freely, as long as the dog behaves well and does not climb on furniture or jump into the pool. Our dog (24kg Mioritic) enjoyed it fully. No dogs at the neighborhood property (there is only 1), so no barking. Very nice pool, big enough to do some laps (ca. 12m long). House is very large, so on days with bad weather no problem since everybody can have an own room. TV, DVD, XBox games, so never boring. Some cleanliness issue initially until we found out that the dish washer upper compartment was defective (to be repaired soon), which the guests before us did not realize, so some dirty bowls and glasses. Just washing in the lower compartment is fine, but only 50% of the dish-load then.

It’s close to Aqcui Terme (15-20 min with car), a little narrow and curved road up to Roccaverano with some good restaurants, 1 hour++ to cities like Asti, Alba, and Barolo (a must go if you are into wine). The house has a great outside area and a great pool. Volleyball in the pool was a success for both the teenagers and the adults. The house was clean and had all we needed for a pleasant stay.

We stayed from Friday to Friday and used the grill every day together with the pool. The house has everything you need. There are some wineries within 35 min. by car. and you can bike to the closest village, there is even a Lidl 20 min by car from the house. There are some nice board games in the house. Carole made a guidebooklet that helped us a lot during our stay. We also contact each other via message for help. The house was overall clean, but in some corners, we could see quite some bugs, spiders, and insects. But I think that is related to the rural area and the time of the year. The bedsheets and towels were clean and ready for us. At night it was very cold but during the day the sun could heat everything nicely.

Thank you for the welcome pack it was much appreciated after our long journey. This is a beautiful ,spacious villa in a lovely quiet part of Piedmont. The garden is massive, our dog enjoyed chasing her tennis ball around it, early in the morning. The pool was very relaxing. The villa has a very well equipped kitchen. The fans were very welcome on a night, as it was so hot. The views of the sunrises and sunsets from the house were amazing.

Great house with lots of privacy. Spacious inside and outside. Kitchen well equiped for large group, large pool (although only 1 meter deep). Lovely cat as frequent visitor of the terrace.

We very much enjoyed our short visit: Whether relaxing by the pool or exploring some of the local winery's. Definitely recommended for the garden and the adequate space for a group. We loved the local ladies in the little shop down the road...

Lovely villa in a quiet setting. We enjoyed the large pool and the staff inside areas. It is a good base to explore a few places. We got the train to Turin and drove to surrounding areas during our stay. Carole was excellent with communication and came back to us very quickly if we had any questions.
