Beautiful apartment just meters from the sea.
Il Corbezzolo boasts 6 beds: large living room with kitchenette and double sofa bed, equipped terrace where to eat outside, bedroom with 3 beds or double bedroom, bathroom with hydromassage shower, mezzanine with double bedroom and bathroom with hydromassage shower . It is 5 minutes from the beautiful beach of Balai and 20 minutes from the beautiful beach of Pelosa. A few meters bars, butchers, supermarkets, bakery, shopping center, pizzerias and restaurants where you can taste the best dishes of the place.
Porto Torres is now the main tourist and commercial port of Sardinia north -occidentale connected with Genoa, with France and seasonally with Barcelona and Civitavecchia. Elegantly overlooking the Gulf of 'Asinara in a strategic location that makes it the fulcrum of picturesque routes as Alghero and Castelsardo. The municipal area is also part of the island of Asinara, since 1997 the National Park of extraordinary natural value and historical, ideal destination for nature lovers where you can have some fantastic jeep tours, canoeing, hiking and guided snorkeling tours and diving in underwater archaeological site.

The appartment is located in walking distance of city centre and supermarkets. Beaches in the area are amazing. The appartment is equipped with everything one could desire. It's VERY clean and in almost mint condition. I highly recommend this stay for families and groups of two couples. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Iside's apartment for 5 days and really enjoyed our stay. Iside was extremely welcoming upon arrival and even took us on a small tour by car of the city and the nicest beaches in Porto Torres. She also sent us a lot of information before arrival about events happening in and around Porto Torres during our stay and some tips for off the beaten track activities. The apartment is really nice and spacious and pretty modern for Italian standards. It has 2 floors; on the "ground floor" (which is located on the 3rd floor of the building) there is the living room, kitchen, master bedroom and a really modern bathroom with a fantastic shower. On the 2nd floor there is another bedroom and another bathroom. The couch on the ground floor is a fold-out so you could even stay there with 6 persons but it might be a little crammed there. It was only the 2 of us so plenty of space. We also really liked the balcony where we had breakfast every morning and spent quite some time in the late afternoon and evening having a drink. A cooling bag, umbrellas and beach chairs are available which we thought was a great plus as it allows you to roam all the beautiful and quiet beaches in the area without having to rent sunbeds etc.
The washing machine in the apartment was also a great plus for us.
Porto Torres in itself isn't the most vibrant city in Sardegna but it's a really great starting point to explore the area as Alghero, Stintino, Sassari and Castelsardo are all within a 30 min. drive.
All in all we had a great stay in Porto Torres and I'd recommend this place and Sardegna in general to everyone!
