About this house rental
Wavesong Cottage has been in our family since it was built in 1994. The master suite was added in 2006. Nestled in the Manistee National Forest right on Lake Michigan, it is a spacious cottage with high ceilings and a spectacular view that just swallows you up in its beauty. Come and enjoy the multi-tiered deck which is a great place to hang out and have a few drinks, play a game, or experience the most spectacular sunsets you have ever seen. Spend time connecting with family around the fire pit or play a game of corn hole while listening to the waves crash on the beach. Private stairs (68 steps) lead you down to our private beach. Spend the day exploring nearby Manistee and stroll down the boardwalk along the water or take in the local farmer's market. If you're interested in golf, Manistee National and Manistee Country Club are only 10 minutes away while Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club is only 45 minutes away.
Cuddle up in the massive Master Suite and wash off the sand in the spacious walk-in dual headed tile shower, have your morning coffee outside the sliding glass door with a perfect view of the lake. Enjoy the open floor plan with friends and family while everyone is gathered around the fireplace to take in a delicious meal made in the newly remodeled kitchen. It is a comfortable and airy space to get away from it all!

Our vacation was lovely. My grandsons loved the beach and fires in the evening. The house is comfortable with a wonderful view of the lake. The host is very responsive though we had no issues. Hope to come back next year!

I’ve stayed at a number of rentals over the years, but Wavesong tops them all. It’s clean and well stocked. The view, deck, and hammock were amazing. Grateful for all the seating, including the chairs at the beach. Guests from ages 9 to 69 were entertained with swimming, beach walks, and freighter watching. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This cottage is lovely! It had everything I was looking for in a vacation home. I never heard of Manistee but when I seen this place I couldn’t unsee it! The road to the cottage was gravel and dirt so we thought maybe GPS was wrong,so surprised when we got to the property it was so pretty. A wonderful view of the lake,and sunsets. Quiet and relaxing. Spent every night outside with a fire till 10pm!!Beach access,a little challenging for us fluffy gals but didn’t stop me,felt stronger by the end of the week!! No loud city traffic or people partying. Close drive to good places to eat and shop. The kitchen had everything you could think of. The fire pit was nice with good furniture to sit in. King size bed nice and great pillows.The main shower is awesome!! I can’t say enough great things!! So thankful I found this place. I am ready to schedule for next year!! Beautiful spot with amazing Lake views in a peaceful setting. Easy to get to Manistee and close enough to Ludington. Plenty of sandy beach. Clean and well stocked with games and kitchen items, easy to use grill. We hope to return!
