At the base of Jackson Hole Mountain resort in Teton Village. Easy to get around the Valley and Grand Teton National park is just a mile away. The house is great for groups with lots of space to spread out. Pool table and foosball in the great room for added entertainment!! Often have wildlife walk through the yard.
Great ski chalet for your family and friends. Three blocks to the village center or grab the Teton Village shuttle bus at the corner of Holly and Rachel Way. Ski in down Morley Drive into the backyard and hot tub at the end of the day.
Although a large home, Mountain Haus is also the perfect vacation home for two, three, four couples or a small family instead of several hotel rooms. It is also a great home for family reunions and big groups!
Come enjoy Mountain Haus in the woods with plentiful wildlife yet located at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and close to both National Parks. Ski into the house in winter or ride the Aerial Tram to the top of Rendezvous Peak in summer. You are renting DIRECTLY FROM THE OWNER without all the extra fees (cleaning fee, hot tub fee, management fee etc...) except required VRBO booking fee and taxes. Make sure you examine the details of other booking offers as the fees inflate the ‘nightly rate’ quite a bit. This private, forested setting is perfect to hike or bike directly from the house, walk to Village activities, shops and restaurants.
You are renting directly from the owner who lives year-round in Jackson and has 28 years experience with guests in this home.

We are located in Teton Village, just two blocks from the tram and gondola at the base of the teton range. The busy town of Jackson is only 12 miles away for more shopping and eating options.
Visit Jackson Hole and the surrounding National Parks before and after the crowds! May, September and October are the best months to view wildlife!
In summer, come experience the new common area with kids' fountains, bungie trampoline, climbing wall, mountain biking, bike paths, hiking, Aerial Tram and lots more..
In Winter the main gondola and new tram are approximately 3 blocks away, a short walk or shuttle bus ride. The auxiliary Moose Creek lift is even closer. At lunch or day’s end, Ski downhill from the Union Pass Lift through the trees, along Morley Drive and into Mountain Haus' backyard. Ski in, walk out.
Many ski season guests like the freedom of a rental car to visit other attractions in the valley, but others rely on the Teton Village Shuttle Bus and the Jackson START Bus to access the Town of Jackson with its additional shopping, restaurants and bars.
Mountain Haus sleeps up to 17 people in three king-size beds, three queen-size beds, one full-size, two extra long twins and one additional twin. Your vacation will be made as convenient as possible with the inclusion of many extras such as a pool table, foosball table, games, movies, video games, toys, poker chips for hours of entertainment. Wireless Internet and Cable TV/VCR/DVD in every bedroom; smart TV's in bedrooms and the Great Room!
The front door is level with the large driveway. There is plenty of parking for your group. The yard is left natural to accommodate the wildlife. The five bedrooms of 'The Mountain Haus' are named after the famous mountain peaks that surround the 1800's fur trapper Davey Jackson's 'Hole'. The large entry hallway has a graceful staircase to the Great Room and large 'Grand Teton' master bedroom and bath with king bed, fireplace and soaking tub. The remaining four bedrooms are back down the staircase on the entry level. The 'Rendezvous' and 'Moran' bedrooms are on the left, each has king bed and private bath. The family wing on the right has two additional bedrooms, a shared double sink bath with private access from both bedrooms: The 'Apres Vous' bedroom has a queen over queen bunk bed and separate extra-long twin bed; the larger 'Sleeping Indian' bedroom has two bunk beds: twin over a full sized bed and extra-long twin over a queen bed.
The private hot tub is level with the entry, just a few feet from the front door but set amongst the trees.
There is an extensive local library available to guests with Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks information and guidebooks to borrow for your stay.
The kitchen is extremely well stocked and even the most discerning cooks enjoy having most things at their fingertips. No need to buy all the extras like most rental homes: detergents, napkins, foil, paper products, trash bags and more! All linens are supplied and housekeeping upon departure is also included for no additional fee. The house is designed for your family and friends to just come, enjoy and relax!

We LOVED Our stay here. It was close enough to walk to activities in Teton Village, but the tree canopy made you feel like you were in a solitary location and living in a treehouse. It was so beautiful. One day we saw a moose roaming around and eating out in the back yard. They had every cooking type pan and utensil you could ever need. They even had several crockpots. It seemed like every time we needed something we would find it there. One day we were making sandwiches to take on a hike and realized we forgot sandwich bags, and found a variety of sizes in the drawer there. I am a bed snob and we thought the mattresses were great. There were so many other extra touches they thought of like plush bath robes and make up mirror. We saw activities there for children that would’ve been great if we had children with us. They had toys and equipment like high chair and playpen. They were delightful hosts. I had many questions before arrival about the area etc and they answered quickly and helped a lot. We had a seamless arrival and we had no problems during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone viewing the property. We hope to return one day with our grandchildren , the good Lord willing.

The property was perfect for my family of 5 plus my sister and her three girls and the grandparents. With 3 bedrooms with a king bed, it was spacious for 3 sets of adults and the cousins shared the other two bedrooms (boys took one, girls took the other). The hot tub right off the front porch was great and clean. The kitchen is well stocked and even had a bunch of things in the pantry which is always nice to not have to buy every spice needed to cook. We happily left a few things behind for other guests to enjoy to pay it forward.beds were comfortable. bedding was plentiful. there were instructions for things like TV and other items around the house. The kids loved the pool table and fooseball table after a day of skiing. The host was very easy to reach and communicate with. The house is a short walk to the bottom of the street where we caught the shuttle to the base of the mountain. We didn't do it at all, but walking to the mountain is doable if you don't want to wait for the shuttle or just missed it. Shuttle was frequent enough that this was never a thought for us. Also, if the driver sees you walking, he/she will wait for you. Some light switches were a little confusing, but we figured everything out. I would recommend to friends and family, and I would book again for sure. Debbie was super responsive to me and my numerous questions.

It needs some updating. The carpet is very old and downstairs bathrooms need updating too. While there the dryer broke and then the host replaced it with an older dryer which don’t work either. He came back the next day and fixed it. Just frustrating because we were depending on it and had a house full of guests (destination wedding for our daughter). The host offered to take our clothes to a wash house. It would have been appropriate and appreciated if host had refunded part of our money for the inconvenience of being without a dryer for a few days and having to deal with it all.
