About this house rental
The municipality of Castiadas and its territory, to date, end of May 2020, has not had Covid-19 infections.
Until when all Italian and European citizens are vaccinated, in this accommodation in addition to the normal and thorough cleaning, certified by dozens of testimonials from our guests, we will proceed to perform a sanitization of the various environments, furnishings and equipment with hypochlorite 2% sodium, 70% alcohol solution and ozone-producing machinery. The apartment will be available to the new guest after a minimum period of 30 hours from the departure of the previous guest.
A holiday in the green lung of Castiadas-Costa Rey between the granite mountains of the "Seven Brothers" and the marvelous sea of Costa Rey to discover white sandy coves and crystal clear water. Olia Speciosa is a small village with an agro-pastoral stamp and it is only recently that it is experiencing a tourist development linked above all to second homes. In a radius of 400 meters from home we have all the main services, medical guard, pharmacy, bank with ATM, post offices, church, market, fish shop, butcher shop and little more in the mechanic, agricultural - hardware consortium, bakery and dairy. The houses are arranged around a grove of eucalyptus and pine trees and you can breathe a peace that gives serenity. At 3 km there are two water springs and one of the largest holm oak woods in Sardinia. The forest of the "Seven Brothers" on the other side extends almost to the gates of Cagliari. The nearest beaches are about 6.5 km away and this distance that forces us to use the car invites us to always different excursions allowing us to range from Capo Ferrato to Villasimius.

This is a very large house. Our hosts live on the ground floor and we stayed upstairs. Our hosts were very welcoming. Alessandro pointed out the only supermarket 2 minutes away by car (Market Atzori, which is badly signposted on the internet).We had a problem with the refrigerator (temperature around 12). As it wasn't possible to solve the problem quickly, our hosts kindly lent us part of their fridge! It's a great location for getting to the beach: from May to October, there are many beautiful beaches. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Appartment was clean and lovely. Alesandro and his wife are very gentle and helpful. To profit from this location, you need a car. The famous costa rey with the beautiful beaches is 10 min by car. Cagliari is ca 50min away. Chia ist 1h 30 min away. ATM, supermarket and restaurants are nearby for a short walk. There is plenty of space for a 5 person-familiy. (Sorry, i know, we have made a lot of noise). We have been there in springtime and couldn't profit from the big, shady balcony. We as family liked it a lot.

We 100% enjoyed our 2 weeks-stay at Sandro and Maria's apartment. They were perfect hosts, always available for questions and forthcoming with good tips concerning activities or beaches to head to. The apartment is very nice, well equipped and has a huge roofed terrace, of which we could profit at any time of the day. It is situated in a quiet village with a supermarket and an excellent pizza place. The beautiful beaches of Costa Rey are only a short drive away, and thanks to the fine sand and quiet warm Mediterranean sea perfectly suited for small children. We had a perfectly relaxed holiday in Olia Speciosa - thank you very much.
