Immerse yourself in nature at our 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath hideaway, offering magnificent long-range views of the North Georgia mountains and lush forest. Unwind in the new hot tub surrounded by the sounds of nature, or explore the enchanted forest on the property. A 15-minute scenic drive through Big Canoe leads you to our private paradise atop Sanderlin Mountain, with easy access from a flat driveway.

Enter the rustic foyer with a large antler chandelier, greeted by wildlife photography from the owner, a professional photographer. The open-concept kitchen, family room, and breakfast room are surrounded by windows offering panoramic views of the mountains and forest, including Amicalola Falls. The family room features a vaulted ceiling, a large TV, and a decorative stone fireplace. The terrace level den, also with a decorative fireplace, has a large TV perfect for movie nights. Relax in the hot tub on the terrace level deck and watch for wildlife in the woods.
Kitchen & Dining
The well-equipped kitchen with a large island is perfect for preparing meals. The main level deck features a dining area and grill with million-dollar views. The indoor dining area, seating six, also offers panoramic views.

The master bedroom on the main floor has a vaulted ceiling, king bed, and recently updated bathroom with dual sinks and a shower. Enjoy sunrise views over the mountains from your bed. Another main level bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite bath with tub/shower, and a private balcony. The terrace level includes the Cardinal Room with a queen bed and forest views, and the Bear Room with a full-size bed. The recently updated bathroom has a tub/shower and sink in one room, and a separate toilet and sink.

Great house for a medium sized family. We had 8 people and that was just right. Anymore would have been a bit tight.

This was one of the best vacation homes we have stayed in! The view is breathtaking! The home is huge and was plenty of space. It was also fully stocked. There is a fence for a dog. You can hike on the mountain directly from the backyard. The hot tub is perfect. We will definitely be back!

The accommodations were immaculate and exceeded all expectations, not to mention the view from the back deck made the whole experience that much more amazing. Sitting back there in the morning drinking coffee and just enjoying the view while listening to the peaceful silence was everything we hoped it would be.
Inside of Big Canoe there were also several other things that we ended up taking advantage of, including several activities at the marina (paddle boarding, kayaking, and renting a pontoon boat) as well as the pool, bocce, and even some pickleball.
There was so much to take in, and while we did a lot, we’ll absolutely be back again in the future. This place is easily one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever had!
