We loved our stay at the Bungalow! Very roomy, clean, cozy feeling, and beautifully decorated. The hosts were friendly and accessible every step of the way and made us feel so welcome with all of the thoughtful touches and amenities. They went above and beyond and even left us a welcome basket of snacks and a bottle of wine! The location is excellent because you are close to everything but yet feel like you're tucked out of the way from the busyness of Seattle. It's easy to hop on the freeway from here and choose what direction you would like to explore, the city or the great outdoors and national parks. There are also a lot of good places to eat and get your shopping done right there in Des Moines.It was so nice to come home to the Bungalow after our daily adventures and relax in such a beautiful setting. We truly felt like it was our home for the week. We definitely recommend this VRBO and plan on staying again the next time we are in the Pacific Northwest!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Redondo Beach bungalow. We prepared a lot of meals in the well-equipped kitchen and the bed was so comfortable that we didn’t want to get up in the morning. There are so few places that are in close proximity to mountains as well as the sea and this is one of them. We enjoyed days of hiking and evenings walking along the Redondo boardwalk. We wish we were back there now!

Michelle’s home in Des Moines was well appointed. She provided many amenities that enhanced our stay. The location is great. We visited a winery north of Seattle, the falls to the east, and Olympia to the south. All were easy drives. The view of the bay was wonderful.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting with family or friends! It is conveniently located next to Redondo Beach with a beautiful view overlooking the water. This house is very taken care of, is comfortable, and definitely feels like a home. The owners have taken great care of the inside and outside of the home as well. We had a wonderful stay in this spacious home with gorgeous views from the large windows in a safe & lovely neighborhood. We were so comfortable and had everything we needed, and more! The host, Michelle, is so kind, responds quickly to communication, and does not miss a beat with hosting her guests. The home is quite well-stocked in the kitchen AND bathroom. Love the dual Keurig coffeemaker! There was a bottle of wine waiting for us as well as multiple snacks & all the coffee supplies you could need! Also, there was a lovely greeting card from Michelle & Chuck, written just for us, to welcome us on our arrival. There is a very comprehensive guidebook/binder that is chockfull of information about places to visit in the area/surrounding cities, restaurants, and information about the home/rules, etc that looks very professionally done. I would rate it more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend staying here if you’re going to be in the area, even Seattle because it’s only about 30-40 mins away from this location. Great place with terrific hosts! Thank you for everything!!

We had a wonderful stay--I would like to emphasize, "We had a wonderful stay". The space is physically cozy and just the right size for 3 people. I am from the area but if you are visiting, this location works very well. Either arriving from I-5 or old 99 the bungalow is only a little over a mile away. We didn't sit outside but didn't need to as the view from inside the house was perfect--floor to ceiling windows. Michelle's response time was fast and the follow through with a request just as fast--thanks Michelle. We'll be back--

We had an outstanding stay at the Redondo Beach bungalow. There was no detail left unturned. The house was clean and contained all that was needed and more from the toothbrushes to the lovely bottle of wine which we enjoyed on the beautiful front porch watching the sunset over the Puget Sound. House was easy to access. It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Not too far from the airport. Great view of the bay and an easy drive to get to see Mt Rainier. Host was in constant contact to make sure we were taken care of during our stay. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this property.

This darling house was a quick drive from the Seattle airport and made a great location for our hiking adventures. We enjoyed early dinners on the front porch and even used the grill for some yummy Copper River Salmon. Everything was neat and easy!

Surprising my mom for her birthday, this was one the best places I've stayed in thus far. Besides the gorgeous view, it was spacious and cozy. The kitchen flowed right onto the balcony where you can enjoy a quick BBQ. The sunlight that brightens the house with the ceiling to floor windows was welcoming every morning and every sunset. Spacious parking for visitors and with a washer/dryer made this a very comfortable stay. You also have the beach down the street for a great walk with a great view. I especially loved the exposed brick adding for a beautiful accent wall. And the price was great for a 10 day stay. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by. And its a literal straight shot from the airport if you are flying in. Would totally recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were in the area visiting our son who is stationed at JBLM. This home was the perfect spot for us to gather! The homeowners are incredibly thoughtful and responsive. The house is very well stocked with everything you might need. A short walk down the hill brings you to the sound. A quick drive up the hill gets you a shopping plaza. Our expectations were far exceeded here! We will be back!

I HIGHLY recommend this property !! The house was beautifully decorated, a mix of beautiful antiques and modern amenities. The owners truly thought of everything !! Anything we could have possibly forgotten... and more, was provided. We rented this place last minute we like the Redondo beach area and we’re happy to find one so close to it. Cottage has a great front porch and patio with view to the water and great sunsets you can easily walk down to the beach - a bit of a climb back up . Salty the restaurant there is not open yet. House was extremely well thought thru and very well furnished. Wonderful welcome bag of treats and a note from the hosts. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with nice pans bowls utensils for cooking, sharp knives colorful utensils, glasses and cups. Only wish the coffee and tea mugs would be bigger. Soap for DW and dish detergent good and plentiful Bathroom large and we’ll furnished. Plush towels, all kinds of toiletries and articles available. W/d works well and soap is there . Soap is perfumed and as I’m skin sensitive I had to borrow some from our sons family. There is a grocery store about a mile up the hill towards pacific hwy. ( Safeway) a Fred meter is a bout 8 minutes away. Beds are very comfortable and lots of linens and blankets. Everything was very clean and organized. Lots of closet and drawer space if you might be there for a longer stay. Owner responded very quickly to every question that came up they seem to really want you to enjoy they place and to feel comfortable!! It sure worked for us ! Would stay here again. Nancy and Phil
