Stunning WATER VIEW Family Town home on Gated Resort
Our comfortable family vacation home is situated on the stunning gated community of Emerald Island. This is a well kept, private community located just off Highway 192/Int.4.
The rear of the property overlooks a lake and wetlands and to the front, is ample parking and manicured lush surroundings. Plenty of free wildlife to spot!
Emerald Island is situated very close to Disney (3 miles) and a short drive from shopping and dining. Emerald Island is one of the nearest rental vacation communities to Disney World Resort and we mean that. Who wants to spend their vacation sitting in the car, not our guests!
Our home has free baby facilities FREE WiFi, FREE telephone calls (UK, France, Spain, Ireland land line calls and FREE US calling) and lots more.
We aim to offer clean, modern, comfortable accommodation for families on a reasonable budget. We do not think you will be disappointed.
Amenities: Our property backs onto a large pond/conservation area and is un-overlooked. There is a small patio to the rear of our house, with seating. Off the Master bedroom is a balcony which also overlooks the lake to the rear of our home. Sit and watch the early morning hot air balloons float past and watch the wildlife!
All towels and linens are provided (including pool towels). We have free US/Canada/Puerto Rico telephone calls from our home as well as free international calling to landlines only in UK, France, Spain & Ireland. Free high speed Internet connection (WiFI) available for use at our home so bring your laptops and PC's are available for use at the clubhouse. We also have cable tv in all bedrooms and the living room, including Hulu and Disney channels.
Our home is looked after by fantastic housekeepers who keep our house spotless and in great decorative condition. You will not be disappointed!! A perfect base for a special family vacation at an affordable price after those busy days at theme parks. Room enough for a family to have their own space, unlike staying in a hotel room together.

THE POSITIVES:
Location was perfect for accessing theme parks. Also, tons of restaurants, drug stores, grocery stores, and even WalMart nearby.
The place was IMACCULATE. So clean. Really value that a lot. :)
Having three bedrooms and two and a half baths was so great, couch was amazing (huge and comfortable), layout of condo worked great.
Host was easy to communicate with and very thorough.
Security of resort was wonderful - two gates to get to the condo made us feel very safe.
Great view out the back.
Cute decorating - very warm and inviting. :)
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT (only 2!):
The primary bedroom's mattress is literally like sleeping on a board. I couldn't sleep the first night and woke up sore. I was so exhausted all the other nights from walking around parks all day that I conked out regardless of the mattress, but it may actually keep me from staying at this property again, sadly. :(
We were really surprised at the lack of any basic cooking aides such as cooking spray, pepper, salt shaker (there was a large carton of salt). We have stayed at many VRBOs and similar across the country and we also happen to own one - we've always had at least those bare bones items available to us. Seems a GIANT waste to make every guest purchase their own of all of these and then throw them away at the end of each stay??? We would happily use cooking spray, olive oil, and salt and pepper that remained at the condo, and it would be really nice to have.
Overall, wonderful stay. Our trip ended two days before Hurricane Ian arrived, so we hope there was no damage to this great place. Thank you!!! :)

Nice resort with nice pool area. House is very nice, perfect for a family.
20 min drive to Disney park and 10 min to Walmart super center.

Wow. Very nice, very comfortable, very secure, high-value for the money, and close to the Parks. Superior lodgings with beautiful area, especially the view out the back. Guest book has someone who has stayed 11 times. That would seem to confirm long-time level of quality and value. To note, couch can fold-out into a bed, on the ground floor; otherwise, all beds are upstairs. The living room is quite comfortable, so it would be best if your group can avoid that. Very quiet neighborhood. Some road noise. Quieter than your typical hotel experience, clearly. I will try to return asap.
