About this house rental
Cocoonr is pleased to offer this beautiful 75 m² duplex townhouse for rent, right in the heart of the Chartrons district in Bordeaux. Le Faubourg offers all the comforts and contemporary charm you need for an exceptional stay in Bordeaux. Fully renovated, Le Faubourg has two bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate four guests. 4* quality bed linen, towels and tea towels, as well as a few coffee capsules, are provided, and your bed will be made upon arrival. Naturally, Wi-Fi is available and free of charge!
The accommodation is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A bedroom with a large wardrobe and a 140x200cm double bed,
- A bedroom with a large wardrobe and a 160x200cm queen-size bed
- A bathroom with bathtub and toilet.
On the first floor:
- A lovely living area with a dining room opening onto the terrace
- A lounge with a flat-screen TV, sofa and coffee table
- A fully equipped open-plan kitchen (fridge, hob, multifunction oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and a wide range of kitchen utensils)
- A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer
Outside:
A lovely 15 m² terrace, completely secluded
The flat is ideally situated in the very heart of Bordeaux, in a pleasant but potentially noisy area. You’ll be close to all essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and the market...
Things to do:
- You can explore the Chartrons district, on the banks of the Garonne. This neighbourhood occupies a prime location between the prestigious Esplanade des Quinconces and the Jardin Public. Shaped by its wine trade and later enriched by maritime trade, its streets feature a mix of opulent former merchants’ mansions and wine warehouses. A village within the city, much like the suburb it once was, this hub for antique dealers and wine merchants encapsulates Bordeaux’s history.
Today, the wine merchants are still in Les Chartrons (following a brief hiatus during the 20th century). They have been joined, in the narrow streets, by antique dealers.
- We also invite you to visit Rue Notre Dame, which stretches for 700 metres and is home to around forty such shops. An iconic street in the neighbourhood, it has seen art galleries and interior design shops spring up over the years. Its small shops, which give it the feel of a BOBO neighbourhood, are in keeping with its history. A history of the neighbourhood that remains close to the hearts of its residents. Many of them consider themselves residents of Chartron long before they consider themselves residents of Bordeaux!
Getting around:
If you’re coming by car, you can park at the Cité Mondiale pay-and-display car park, 50 metres from the property.
Public transport:
50 metres away, tram line B (CAPC stop)
200 metres away, tram line C (Paul Doumerc stop)
Train: Bordeaux station is a 15-minute tram ride away on line C
Bike-share scheme:
Vcub station 150 metres away, €1.60 for 24 hours.

Le Faubourg "Adorable place
We had a great time in Bordeaux. This apartment is clean and comfortable. The outdoor area is great and nice to sit with a book or drink. It's in a great location and close to multiple train lines. There are a couple of things to be aware of when you book. The bedrooms are located near the street and there is a bar located across the street. So it's pretty loud until the bar closes. I used ear plugs and that really helped. If you have a white noise generator that would solve the issue. We also had an issue with mosquitos on the top floor so I wouldn't leave the door open to balcony as I believe that's where they were coming in. Overall this was a great place to stay and we enjoyed the space. They had an expresso maker with some pods, so i could get my coffee fix and a small amount of food items that we were able to use like sugar."
