We really enjoyed our time at the lake. The yard was very peaceful. The goose was well stocked with everything you would need. My only complaint is that the shorelineis a mess with lots of Lilly pads, weeds, and other debris. I know that is not the fault of the owner but the nature of the lake this year. We would book again.

The owner had great communication with me and our stay was excellent. There was everything in the house you could ask for. It was above my expectation. We are thinking about rebooking for next year. I highly recommend this place.

Cottage and amenities were very nice. Disappointing was the several feet of muck at the lake shore which made it impossible to swim or launch a kayak from shore. The dock is unsteady and rickety; no way we could have launched a kayak from there.

Great Place to stay, right on the lake with a dock for the boat. Boat Ramp was 5 min away. The cottage had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Nice back yard on the lake with fire pit. Plenty of parking space in the front. Quiet dead-end road. Neighbors were very friendly. Will Definitely be back same time next year.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the lake cottage. The location is ideal, with Bemus Point nearby and all that Lake Chautauqua has to offer, plus it’s only about 15 minutes from Jamestown. The cottage was the perfect size for us and our dog. The yard overlooks the lake, offering a nice view, though I’d recommend trimming the tall vegetation along the shore to enhance the view even more. The cottage is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay there. There was plenty of room for us and we enjoyed being on the lake. There also was plenty of room outside. Our grandchildren were over during one of the days and they enjoyed playing frisbee. It is very close to Bemus Point which is one of our favorite spots on the lake.

Although the cottage had the necessities, the first thing we noticed was the lack of a lake few due to the tall weeds along the entire shoreline. The picture on the listing was terribly misleading! The place wasn't awful, but certainly not clean. The daybed was too hard to sleep on, so took the mattress from the trundle and put it on top. Looking forward to the steaks we brought only to find out the gas grill didn't work. Absolutely no comfortable seating on the deck which was incredibly dirty. Fortunately I noticed this in other pictures & brought my chairs.

We enjoyed our stay at this lakefront cottage. The house had everything we needed and it was nice to dock the boat right in front of the house. The owner was great with communicating and making everhthing went as good as it possibly could. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

The cottage was bigger than I expected. We had basically 5 adults (2 parents and 3 kids in their 20's) and had plenty of room. It was nice that we were right on the water and the sunsets were beautiful. Communication with Laurie was excellent, she was very accommodating.

My wife and I had a great stay for annual fishing trip to Chautauqua. Laurie was attentive host and communication was excellent. We enjoyed setting on the deck and chatting with the neighbors when we were not on the water.

The property met our needs except there were no tv stations. I guess you have to know how to do streaming and apps which we do not do. We were there to visit our son and daughter in law who live outside Jamestown and it was a great location, about a 15 minute drive to their house. We had a great time.

The camp had everything we needed for a relaxing catch up weekend. We visited some local attractions, took a ride around the lake and had a campfire next to the water. The camp is stocked with dishes , pots and pans, a full kitchen( minus a dishwasher.) We visited in September and the neighborhood was quiet and well taken care off. All in all a nice time away.

This house was so cozy. We enjoyed the view of the lake but disappointed in the poor upkeep of cottages across the street. Some are just beautiful. Others should be torn down. We grew up in Chautauqua County and found this the perfect base for going off to visit all of our friends. Also many good restaurants near by. The. Fire pit was a great end to our day and the communication with the property manager was outstanding. I’ve stayed in many VRbO’s and experienced none better

WOW , we loved Laura's place! We literally did not need to take anything for our stay other than our personal items! Everything you need plus so much extra was provided. Games, puzzles, books we really felt at home and loved our stay! This is a beautiful cottage with great lake access and views! We will definitely come back again and recommend to our friends!

The cottage is much bigger than we expected from the pictures. The house sits on a nice size lot with a view of the lake and a long dock. We built a fire in the large firepit and there was even a bundle of wood to get us started! There are small cafe tables and chairs and four outdoor chairs on the deck and a picnic table in the yard, so plenty of seating for guests. The two sliding glass doors off the deck bring in refreshing lake breezes to cool the whole house. Since there’s only one air conditioner (in the primary bedroom), on warmer days, there are many fans in the house including ceiling fans. I run warm, and I had no issues with the heat;) The bedrooms are small but fine for the two of us. The primary bedroom has a full size bed and a large dresser and a very big closet. The second bedroom has a day bed (trundle). We didn’t open it. We used that room for our luggage. There’s also a cabinet with a TV inside. There’s a nice table that made a good charging station. The bathroom is a nice size with a huge walk-in shower and a stackable washer and dryer, which is super convenientl. Now the kitchen!! I have stayed in a lot of rental homes, and never have I been lucky enough to enjoy such a fully stocked kitchen. Well, at times, it’s stocked, but the stuff is gross and I don’t want to use it! Not the case here! We felt like we were staying at a friend’s home! Our hostess couldn’t have been kinder. She even left us some food and a welcome basket!
