Welcome to Shipwatch 418! We recently completed a full renovation of our two-story, oceanfront, Shipwatch penthouse in Wild Dunes and are happy to welcome guests looking for a serene getaway!
Directly on the beach and offering truly spectacular views from 2 oceanfront balconies, this 1600+ sqft penthouse is a two-story, open concept unit on the top floor and has the largest floor plan in Shipwatch.
The home has three beautifully decorated bedrooms and three spa-like baths. There are two master bedrooms (both with new high-end pillow-top king size beds) upstairs - one overlooking the private beach and largest pool in Wild Dunes, and the other overlooking the par 3, 12th hole of the award winning Wild Dunes Links golf course. The third bedroom is on the main floor with two new twin beds. The living room sofa has a pullout queen sleeper if additional sleeping space is needed, and all bedrooms have their own large flat screen smart TVs. Each bedroom also has its own en-suite bathroom that has been newly renovated with marble counter tops and all high-end finishes. The primary master shower has two shower heads with pebble tile flooring, and the other two bathrooms have deep soaking tubs.
No expense was spared in this renovation. Living and dining room has all new designer furniture, 65” smart HDTV, WIFI with high-speed internet and cable TV.
The fully stocked kitchen is brand new with marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, beverage fridge and new high-end counter appliances (blender, coffee maker, etc.). The home also has a brand new full-size washer and dryer in the unit on the second floor.

My wife and I normally take a yearly trip to Charleston and stay downtown, but this year we decided to bring the kids and wanted to stay near the beach. Our stay at the condo did not disappoint. It was beautiful, with a nice layout, and the perfect amount of space for what we needed. We loved the ocean views and that it was steps away from the beach. The pictures are accurate and Steve was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back in the future.

Location was excellent! Ocean front with great views. condo had several issues. Not stocked with toilet paper upon arrival. Two of the three toilets were not working properly. Our host finally got maintenance to fix the toilets but they continued to not work properly. Sliding screen door to balcony was broken so could not be used. High chairs and baby items were left out taking up room along with beach toys and vacuum sitting out in the open in the hallway . My guests and I were very disappointed in this condo and would not recommend but location was great.
