About this apartment rental
One bedroom apartment and a living room that can be turned into another twin bedroom (up to 4 persons), 42 sqm, top level floor, completely renovated apartment in the centre of Old town Dubrovnik with an amazing skyline view on the ancient city and walls.
Despite its central location, the flat is very peaceful and quiet, but keep in mind that there are steps to reach it. The climb is well worth it in the end, when you see the view from our windows. Small price to pay!
The 6 windows provide full light and air all day.
The views from this apartment will make you fall in love with Dubrovnik forever. The apartment takes the whole top floor of the house. It's high position and windows on all sides allow a lot od daylight and a lovely breeze throughout the day. When the breeze is not enough, there is always ACC!
Some windows face the famous terracotta roofs of the Old City, some face the untamed neighbouring garden, some look onto a quiet street and the museum Rupe with a small fountain at the end, some look at the fort of Minceta, the biggest fort of the City walls..all in all you can spend hours just soaking in the Mediterranean atmosphere.
The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed and another room designed as a living room but the 2 sofas are easily turned into two comfortable single beds.
When renovating the house we made sure it did not lose any of its original charm, so some stone walls have been left exposed, wooden floors have been left in their original, just treated and painted, but we know how important sleep is so the beds have great mattress with memory foam and good pillows, topped with quality linen.
Kitchen has all one needs to prepare a lovely meal if occasionally you do not feel like going to one of many interesting restaurants.
Apartment is non smoking. There are local residents and apartments for tourists around us, so we ask our guests to be considerate towards others and not make excessive noise after hours, also to look after our apartment as best as they can and not to move furniture or objects in the apartment. We also ask that you wash all the dishes before departure.
Apartment can only be rented as a whole unit, to one party of guests.
Our space is limited so WE CAN NOT STORE YOUR LUGGAGE, but there is a luggage storage very close to our house.

Overall, really good stay! Great value and the location is 10/10. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs to get into the apartment.

The apartment is spacious and the views are gorgeous across Old Town. Silva was a kind and helpful host and resolved any issues we had with positivity.

This place has a great location in the center of the Old City which was great for accessing all the more touristy locations. The place itself was clean and cute. It had a beautiful view out of the windows. Two things to consider: there was construction being done in the unit below (did not disturb us at all) but it made the property itself a little less clean. The other piece is the path and stairs up to the apartment had little to no light (stair lights weren’t working). Felt safe walking up them, but not sure I would have felt that if traveling solo. Also, there are a lot of steps, so if mobility is an issue, this would not be ideal. Overall, great stay for a great price in a solid location.

Pros: Great property, very clean, and convenient. Perfect size place to stay for 3 of us with an excellent view from each room. Great price for a 2 bedroom in this area. Yes, it requires steps to get up as expected in the Old Town but it is not difficult (unless you are physically challenged).
Cons: Lack of communication with the owner as I received no information/confirmation on how to get in or where to find the key. She never responded to my email weeks prior to our arrival after booking. Gate was open but had to walk around the property knocking on doors to look for the right flat. Had to find wifi to call the owner. She didn't know which place I was staying in at first but eventually directed me to the lock box and gave me the code for the key. Second, someone locked the gate while we were out one night which was supposed to remain open, according to the owner. I had to climb over the gate and jump down to manually pull down and unlock the handle from the inside at 2am. Owner eventually answered my calls and claimed nobody was staying in the entire place but there actually was someone staying at the main level as I noticed movement and towels placed outside of their door behind the same gate in the property. We left the gate opened and by the next morning, it was closed again! There should be a way to keep that gate fully opened since it is not easy to open.
