About this house rental
In the heart of the Black Triangle, where the night reveals one of the most beautiful starry skies in the city
Europe, discover a rare interlude in a small contemporary villa nestled between unspoilt nature and the sweetness of life.
Here, summer is lived indoors and outdoors. Several garden furniture rooms invite you to follow the sun from morning to evening, between bright breakfasts, naps in the shade and long evenings under the stars.
A few steps away, the emblematic landscapes of the Causse open up to you, paths, dry stone walls, the Célé cycle route, the towpath sculpted in the rock of Saint Cirq Lapopie, unforgettable escapades.
In the footsteps of the pharaohs with the Champollion Museum in Figeac or the visit of Cahors with the Valentré bridge, an emblematic monument of Cahors, was built from 1308 on the initiative of the consuls of the city.
Cabrerets is an enchanting village in the Célé valley that reveals a thousand-year-old history.
With its famous cave decorated with the Pech Merle, its English castle, its stone houses and its troglodyte dwellings.
The house is warm and comfortably welcomes families or tribes of friends with its bright rooms. Open spaces, soothing atmospheres, omnipresent nature everything invites you to slow down and enjoy.
For moments of complicity and memories, you will find a whole bunch of games (scrabble, Uno, Yam's, power 4....) And even under the trees it will be possible to play a game of badminton, mölkky, petanque for the children.....
For the maintenance of the pool, I would take care of it myself at least once a week. This way you will only have to enjoy your holiday to the fullest!
Close to all amenities (5 mns by car): Limogne en Quercy (bakery, butcher, pharmacy, doctor, mini-market, gas station, bike rental, café with shaded terrace, flea market, municipal swimming pool to do a few morning laps), its market on Sunday mornings! and these gourmet walks organized by the village shopkeepers!!
You will have the privilege of meeting Maurice, our turtle Hermann, who asks for nothing more than water and a few salad leaves, melon or strawberry to nibble on, he is in his enclosure and never escapes!
You will also have the presence of our cat Ulysse during your stay, he is an adorable cat very affectionate, he is autonomous except for the distribution of his meals!!
As the Lotois slogan says: "Here we are good, here we live well"!

Lovely house with lots of outdoor space in a quiet hamlet. We enjoyed sitting out in the evenings cooking on the outdoor grill while the sunset- and on a clear night you are in the ‘black triangle’ so the star gazing is excellent. Kitchen is well equipped and loads of board games as well as a dining/sitting area- children also loved the pool and looking after Maurice the tortoise! The owners Sophie and Daniel were lovely and made us very welcome - and gave some great recommendations of places to see and local food options. Lots of places to visit within a hour of the house with Rocamadour and Toulouse also within 90 mins drive.
