VILLA CLIZIA - SYRACUSE AREA
Located south of Syracuse in eastern Sicily, Villa Clizia is a beautiful villa situated near to the popular seaside resort of Fontane Bianche. Just a few hundred metres from the sandy beach, the villa is ideal for those who want to be near the sea and amenities such as restaurants, shops and banks (3km).
From the villa is easy to visit the enchanting Baroque towns of Syracuse, Noto, Modica, Ragusa Ibla and Scicli and, you are also within reach of the Vendicari nature reserve, the fishing villages of Portopalo and Marzamemi, Taormina and Mount Etna.

Loved the pool and the outdoor area. Well stocked kitchen and fridge when we arrived that was nice. Frederique the property manager was great, very helpful with local information and responsive. If a full number of people in the property, the kitchen would be a bit small for all, but great sized table outside for dining. Good air con. Easy walk to the beach, nice bar with sea view at bottom of road. Easy to catch the train to Syracuse for Romano Greek archaeology and Ortega. Disappointing thing was the rubbish in Fontane Bianche and on surrounding roads. You will need a car, easy drive from Catania airport.
