About this house rental
Just a few minutes drive off the coastal highway and up into the tropical rainforest, you’ll find Casa Eleganza, overlooking the sleepy beaches of Dominicalito, Costa Rica.
As you drive through Eleganza's gates, swaying palm trees and beautiful landscaping lead up to a covered parking spot and walkway to the estate.
The space
Offering panoramic views, 180-degrees of the Pacific Ocean, this vacation villa features elegant colonial style architecture and decor. Casa Eleganza’s living space encompasses more than 4,300-square feet, and can accommodate 10 guests in the 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathroom villa.
A mosaic-tiled walkway and a flowing water fountain greet visitors on arrival. Upon entering Casa Eleganza you’ll walk through a foyer decorated with antique-style wrought iron chandeliers, arched ceilings and doorways, ceramic tiling and exotic local wood sourced to complete the beautiful side paneling.
Casa Eleganza is a welcoming and comfortable home, an ideal retreat after a day exploring outdoors. With over-sized sofas, love seats and tables, you can watch TV or read a book while still enjoying the massive ocean views between chapters. The entire villa is equipped with A/C for your comfort.
The formal dining area sits in line with the living room, perfect for feeling together without feeling crowded. The dining table seats 8 and offers lovely garden views on the one side, and stretching ocean views out the other.
To the right of the dining area is a handmade wood bar with three comfortable stools and more ocean views. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a glass of chardonnay after a long day under the Costa Rican sun. To make the most of your dining experience at Casa Eleganza, hire a private chef and bartender, and simply pull up a chair to watch the sunset while an amazing traditional meal is in the works.
Off of the dining area is a completely modern kitchen with the latest appliances. A granite countertop island with built-in stove top is situated under a soaring 24-foot ceiling with large bright windows filling the kitchen with natural sunlight.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a stand-alone claw-foot bathtub, large closets and a huge bathroom that features his and hers vanities. Two additional bedrooms are located upstairs, one with a king-size bed plus sofa-sleeper, and the other has a queen-size bed. Both have ceiling fans, A/C and beautiful views. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds.
Sun lovers will have plenty of locations to soak up the rays alongside the luxurious infinity pool, which is the largest infinity pool in this exclusive neighborhood, offering some of the most stunning views around. The pool deck has plenty of lounge chairs and next to the pool is a large veranda featuring a built-in BBQ, the ideal spot to enjoy some fresh locally-caught fish.

Great location, just a short drive to the local supermarket, but a little longer drive to the supermarket in Uvita, where things are a bit cheaper with a choice of supermarkets. The property is gated with a security guard 50 yards away, although I think he’s responsible for a different group of homes. A street light is located just across the street as well. Although it wasn’t during the rainy season, it did rain some during the nights, causing a little concern for the steep dive up. Very glad we had a 4x4 van rented as we had 8 adults and some of the roads to the beaches are quite bumpy. The property is just a 1-2 minute drive up the hill, so that was nice. Very beautiful home with plenty of room for the 8 of us. Internet was dependable and I think there might be a generator on the property as power went out and we seemed to have some of it restored very quickly. Beautiful pool, great view, awesome place. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was great. Great location. 2 minute drive to an excellent beach. We had 3 adult couples and it had plenty of room for us. Bathrooms are huge! Loved to pool. Huge kitchen for our chef. Would certainly stay here again. Josue was very responsive and helpful. Sunsets were spectacular! Pura Vida!

The house is very nice and in a good location. Josue the property manager was great with communication and addressing any questions or issues that came up during our stay. Although the house is very nice it is over priced compared to other comparable homes I’ve rented in the area during the same time of year.
