The stay here was easily the highlight of our Nova Scotia trip. The cabins were very cute and cozy. The host is also very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here again!

Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay. The cabins themselves look new and the details of the decorating were so beautiful/serene. Oh and we also had access to a BBQ, fire pit (yummy Smores lol), small stove, dishwasher, fridge, and nice shower in the cabin There are large windows everywhere and it almost feels like you are staying outdoors. Absolute stunning nature and wildlife all around you. A pier/dock a few minutes walk/drive away with kayaks, fishing access, sauna, and great area for swimming on the lake. The pictures do not do this location justice in my opinion. The price is also great considering the quality of the stay, attentive, nice, and accommodating host and the picturesque landscape. Would recommend a stay here to anybody, sincerely. Plan on returning for a longer period of time next summer 2025. Thank you to our Host.
