Pest control spraying was scheduled during our stay and Turtle management would not reschedule. They said they would not let the dogs get out (I was afraid they would come in when we weren't there) and it was safe. The bug guy (who arrived several hours beyond the scheduled time) said he wouldn't spray inside because the dogs would quote: "lick it, get sick and die". While we were discussing it, I noticed the gate was wide open so the dogs could get out. I felt that Turtle (Connour) was talking down to me and just telling me what I wanted to hear. He had also said he would be there when the bug guy was there. Didn't happen. If the management company changes, I might consider staying in the bungalow again.

This property met and exceeded our expectations. We COULD have used more than one bath towel for the two of us, and washcloths would have been nice, but since I always overpack it was not a problem. We really thought we had found our repeat rental and were devastated to hear the future plans for this property. This is a unique small rental that is perfect for a couple that is looking for a quiet restful vacation away from it all. We plan to return for several days in the fall before demolition and new construction ruins it.
