About this apartment rental
Stay at our lower ground luxury one-bedroom apartment in Marylebone 5 minutes from Oxford Circus. It’s location is outstanding, within walking distance of some of Europe’s best shopping, some of London's best Colleges & Business Schools like Regents University London and some of the top private specialists in medicine. Great transport links and there is an infinite choice of bars and restaurants. Also close access to Hyde Park providing great options for those daily workouts.

I have never stayed in a basement flat before - the light was good, but we kept the shades down most of the time, just because of the pedestrian traffic - having said that - the pedestrian traffic is not heavy - it was just different for us. The flat is spacious but needs a little work in the bathroom particularly, but not a big deal. The bedroom looks out onto the original stairs down to the flat, and that area had not been cleaned for a long time. These are minor issues, and overall, we loved the location, Marleybone is a great neighbourhood with coffee shops, good restaurants and nice shops - Daunts bookshop is a must. I can't walk too far, but it was very easy to get a cab just outside the main door of the property. Just one suggestion, the flat could benefit from a manual with respect particularly to the TV and heating. And some times a guest book is nice to pass along recommendations for dinner etc. We also found the host to be responsive and friendly which is always appreciated.
