About this chalet rental
Come and stay in one of the most charming chalets in the Poconos. This 2BR(plus sleeping loft)/2BA home is stylish, family-friendly, and well-equipped with everything you will need. AC to keep you cool in the summer and a pellet stove for those cozy winter nights. A comfy basement hang out has an additional wood burning stove and ping pong table. Outside is a large deck, a three-person hot tub, and an open fire pit.
The chalet is located in a gated and amenity-rich community with 3 lakes, 2 (seasonally-available) swimming pools, tennis courts and more. A kayak is provided for our guests by request. 15 minutes drive to skiing and waterparks at Camelback Mountain. Delaware Water Gap. Kalahari. Shawnee. Hiking. Shopping.

This is a gated community. Community rules require that guests sign "short-term leases" with the community for the duration of their stay. These will be provided to guests following booking. To complete this paperwork, each guest must provide a copy of your drivers license and vehicle information.
Guests will be given a gate pass for the duration of their stay.
All guest must be over 18 to stay in the Chalet, except for children who stay with their parents.
Guests can access the entire house, except for the storage room in the basement and a small closets upstairs in the loft.
Message via booking channel for faster responce or call or text in the case of an emergency.
Gated, Amenity-Rich Community. Slow Speed Limits (25mph) - walk or bike and enjoy!
15 minutes to Camelback Mountain (skiing and snowtubing and waterpark)
25 minutes to Shawnee Mountain
20 minutes to Kalahari
15 minutes to outlet shopping center
Tons of nearby hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, tubing, rafting, etc.
10 minutes to grocery stores + restaurants
12 minutes to downtown Stroudsburg
The community is a large (~150 acres) gated community with posted speed limits of 25 mph. Members and Guests have access to all areas and facilities, except for individual residential lots, and the community gym. Please feel free to enjoy the area using bicycles, skateboards, scooters, electric scooters, or simply walking and exploring.
The three lakes (lakes may freeze over in winter) are all accessible for guests for recreation - fishing licenses are required.
Parking is restricted to the driveway in the Black Forest Chalet, or marked parking spots located around the community - please do not park on the side of the road. Security will ticket vehicles parked on the roadside.
Note: Please ensure that you are entering the correct number of guests in your booking as our pricing automatically adjusts based on the total number of guests (up to 5 guests max).
Speed limit in the community is strict and enforced by security (25mph) - this is for the safety of children, pets and everyone.
NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE. Any instance of smoking within the premises will result in a $1,000 penalty fee. This fee is imposed to cover the cost of additional cleaning and deodorization required to restore the property to a smoke-free condition.
SAFETY NOTICE: ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) CHARGING POLICY STRICTLY PROHIBITED! Violating this house rule will result in a $1,000 fine.
Quiet hours after 11pm
No fireworks within the community
No more than 3 people in the hot tub at one time.
No glitter allowed (inside or outside)
No more than 5 people on the deck at one time
If using the outside water hose, please shut off immediately
No candles inside of property
For proper use of wood stove or pellet stove, please refer to TouchStay Digital Guide.
No high heels inside of property - the hardwood floors scratch easily
Use of kayak requires life vests - and kayak must be locked back up after use
Please stay within property lines and do not trespass on neighbor properties - the yard has a clear line of stones and markers outlining the property boundary

Everything looked great, place was clean, modern, and luxurious. The host was really responsive. We ordered delivery and had an issue at the gate with one of our guests (the complex is very strict) and the host was responsive and resolved the issue with us. I loved the customer service and accommodations. I would definitely stay here again.
