About this house rental

Our cottage is an entire 2-bedroom self-catering home, newly fully refurbished and tastefully decorated to give a wonderful country feel.

Beautifully presented and immaculately clean. It features original oak beams, low ceilings and fireplace.

An enviable location nestled in the heart of the village boasting very short walks to two lovely local pubs, a superb Italian restaurant and an award winning tearoom beautifully positioned next to the quaint watermill and stream running opposite.

Our cottage is a 2-bed self-catering entire home, newly fully refurbished and tastefully decorated to give a wonderful country feel.

Beautifully presented and immaculately clean, it still has many original features since it was built in the 1800’s, such as fire places and oak beams set into the low level ceilings.

Sleeping three people and set over two low floors with a cosy lounge and kitchen / diner, there is one double and one single bedroom and a family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower.

Please note the staircase is steeper than would be found in new buildings with no balustrade and the floors are uneven in places, all adding to the character of a a traditional village cottage.

Smoking is not allowed and we are unable to accommodate pets.

Prior to your arrival we will send you the key box location and code, allowing you access to the property on check in. alternately one of our team can meet you on arrival to hand over the keys and answer any questions you may have. We don’t live far away and are always on hand shout you require any assistance during your stay.

Bieldside Cottage is right in the centre of Ollerton Village, located close to Newark in Nottinghamshire.

An enviable location nestled in the heart of the village boasting very short walks to three lovely local pubs, a superb Italian restaurant, and an award-winning tearoom beautifully positioned next to the quaint watermill and stream running opposite.

It is ideal for exploring the surrounding country parks and estates, National Trust sites and has plenty of walking and cycling trails, as well as the stunning golf courses close by - Rufford Country Park (2 miles), Sherwood Forest (4 miles), Sherwood Pines (4 miles), Clumber Park (7 miles), Newark Castle (13 miles) and Nottingham city centre (19 mile

Bieldside Cottage allows for one car to be parked in front of the cottage. There is a free village car parking located just 200 meters away for additional cars.

A bus stop is situated 200 metres from the property, with regular services to Newark, Mansfield, Nottingham and Worksop.

There are many local cycle trails which are easily accessed from the property. National Cycle routes and Sherwood Pines are within the locality.

The property offers free WiFi, a Nest heating system, a separate boot / utility room.

Located on Station road there is no allocated parking spaces for residents. occasionally guests will need to park a few meters away.
Accommodation balance is due 28 days prior to check in, no payment will be taken until this date. For bookings made within 28 days the full balance will be charged at time of booking.

A security deposit of £200 will automatically be held on the credit/Debit card provided upon check in and automatically refunded after inspection of the property on check out.

Through our website we can only accept bookings 9 months in advance. However, we are always happy to reserve dates for guests who have special occasions in our local area. please contact us to enquire about a future provisional booking. Please note for future bookings the balance is required 2 months prior to check in.
