A lovely mountainside home with many wonderful features! We enjoyed the hot tub, gas fire pit, pool table, lounging in the living room, decks, and king-sized bed.

This is a really beautiful home that is so close to the lake. The dock has access to a canoe and really great swimming so also a great place to pull a boat up easily. Beautiful home lots of cool features like the pool table with the grill and the Jacuzzi. Everything was easy clean, and I would highly recommend this place to stay.

The cabin was nice and roomy. Beautiful view. Unfortunately the dishwasher and neither ice maker worked during our stay. It wasn't a deal breaker but was inconvenient with Thanksgiving cooking and dinner. The host was responsive and kind. We would definitely consider this property again.

We had nine people for the trip (our family of four and my wife's family visiting from Europe). Six adults and three kids (8 to 12).
This house was perfect. Plenty of room, well maintained, clean and the setting was amazing. Honestly, the pictures are beautiful and the actual views are better.
The main level has the kitchen, dining space, family room and game room with a large deck with a grill and fire pit. The lower level has 5BRs (one MBR), three bathrooms, the laundry room and a covered deck with hot tub.
The house had all the amenities (well stocked kitchen (plates, pots, pans, etc), great wifi, and the AC worked very well (too well for our guests who are not accustomed to using AC as much).
It is a steep drive to the house from the main road (I wouldn't want to do it in bad weather without 4WD), but that is pretty much expected with mountain homes.
For activities, we went to swimming off the dock/canoeing one day and another we rented a pontoon boat (shout out to Mallard Creek Marina).
My only advice/caution would be to come prepared. Butler is pretty isolated. Convenience stores will be 20+ minutes away and most restaurants further (don't expect to use DoorDash here :) ). And cellular service is VERY sparse. Again, we had great connections in the house, but once we left, we were on our own. We loved the remoteness, but if you're not prepared...
I would highly recommend the property and it is certainly a place we would love to return to.
