There, you can discover restaurants, retail, an ice skating rink, a movie theater and more. Guests can settle in for the evening snuggled in front of either the wood burning fireplace on the main level or the gas fireplace on the lower level. If skiing, snowboarding or biking are not your ideal activities, Big Sky offers a host of other options. Dog Mushing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, ATV touring, horseback riding, white water rafting, fly fishing, golfing, and rocking climbing are just a few of the many pastimes that can be discovered in the area. Nestled in the scenic heart of the Madisons, Big Sky, Montana, offers an unparalleled base for year-round adventures. Located just an hour from both Yellowstone National Park and the vibrant college town of Bozeman, this charming community is perfectly positioned for exploration.

“Basecamp to Yellowstone” at Big Sky Resort serves as the ultimate launchpad for outdoor enthusiasts. In the summer, embark on scenic lift rides, guided hikes, and adrenaline-pumping activities like mountain biking and ziplining. The resort's Adventure Zipline is particularly thrilling, featuring four lines that span up to 1,500 feet and soar 150 feet above the forest floor, offering breathtaking views of Lone Mountain and the Spanish Peaks. For a more relaxed experience, the Nature Zipline provides a scenic journey suitable for all ages.

Big Sky Mountain Village, situated at the base of the resort, boasts a variety of shopping and dining options, making it a convenient and lively spot for visitors. Additionally, the charming Town Center of Big Sky is rapidly developing, offering a burgeoning scene of local shops, eateries, and cultural attractions.

Whether you're seeking exhilarating outdoor activities or a peaceful retreat in nature, Big Sky provides the perfect setting for your Montana adventures.

**Due to the owner's allergies, NO ANIMALS are allowed in the home.

Ski Out: From the home you will ski directly across Rising Bull Road, down a small hill to the base of White Otter lift. It takes less than a minute.
Ski In: There are two options. Either go to the bottom of White Otter lift and hike 3 minutes up the ski trail you ski out on to the home. The second option is ski to the base of Cascade lift and take the lift across the road. Once getting off the Cascade lift, you will follow the Middle River green run to the home. You will go under the main road (Lone Mountain Trail) through a ski tunnel and exit the groomed trail where you started the ski out (cross Rising Bull Road and your home will be right there).
Not recommended for snowboarders or young children as the ski in does involve some lower angle terrain where you may need to skate. The home is not ski in/ski out if White Otter lift is not running. The start date for White Otter lift varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort's closing day depending on snow conditions.
