About this chalet rental
Unique spacious three level log cabin in a gorgeous setting on the Wisconsin River, 20 minutes from Spring Green, or 65 minutes from Madison. This riverfront property affords breathtaking views from all three levels of the house, both upstream and downstream, with decks on the east, south and west sides. The walls and ceilings are sided with rustic knotty pine. Set on just under one acre, this lovely property has 325 feet of river frontage, dozens of big trees, a spring-fed clear-running stream, firepit and a barbeque grill.
Bad weather - cuddle by the fireplace, read, watch the river from the huge windows in the Great Room or downstairs screen porch. Bring DVD movies and watch on the DVD player or tune into Netflix on the big screen TV. Play cards, work on a puzzle or play one of the board games provided. Cook a great meal in the totally equipped kitchen.
Go see a play at American Players Theatre, visit historic Frank Lloyd Wright's home, Taliesin, visit the unique 'House on the Rock', visit Wisconsin Dells waterparks, visit the local wineries and quaint shops in small villages. Watch the eagles soar and dip to get fresh fish.
Please note, since we are sandwiched between the road and the river there is unfortunately heavy traffic noise at times.

We were delighted with this cabin on the river. The location was so peaceful. Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated with style. As far as help, Sandy and Rick were present to answer questions What a pleasure to meet them and obtain useful information. It is on our list to return again.

Rick & Sandy were welcoming and gracious hosts. Their property on the Wisconsin River is beautiful. The chalet is clean with a well stocked kitchen & bathroom. We enjoyed bird life on the deck, warm outdoor fires & beauty of the river. We hope to stay again!

The place was very clean and very beautiful. You could not ask for a better view. The host was very kind showing us everything we needed to know. The ONLY thing that we didn’t know was how close the house was to the main road through town. Pretty noisy. Other than that we had a wonderful time.
