Cozy Cabins offers a charming retreat for smaller groups looking to unwind and indulge in great fishing and relaxation.
Nestled just across the road from the picturesque Petenwell Lake, Cozy Cabins beckons with its tranquil ambiance and convenient location. Each cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 3 guests, ensuring an intimate and cozy experience. And if you don't need both cabins, no worries—you can reserve just one to suit your needs.
During your stay, you will have access to our private pier for daytime use. Please note that the piers are installed seasonally by the local power company, and depending on weather and scheduling, they may not be available by the first of May.
Also, due to rough water conditions in the area, our Homeowners Association does not allow overnight boat docking. You are welcome to use the pier during the day, but you will need to remove your boat each evening.

Bring your boat along and take advantage of the private pier across the road for daytime docking, making it easy to explore the vast waters of Petenwell Lake. When hunger strikes, head over to Petenwell Pub for a delicious meal or enjoy a leisurely bike ride to Adams County Petenwell Park, where you'll find the public boat launch and plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities—all within walking distance from your cabins.
Cabin 1 (Brown) features one bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with a bunk bed (twin on top, full on bottom), along with a full bathroom. Step into the inviting 3-season room as you enter, providing extra dining space and a cozy spot to relax.
Cabin 2 (White) boasts two bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed, and a full bathroom. Outside, you can unwind around the firepit, grill out in the spacious yard, and soak in the serene surroundings.
Petenwell Lake, the second-largest inland lake in Wisconsin, spans 23,000 acres and offers excellent opportunities for boating, swimming, and fishing. Nature enthusiasts can explore the nearby Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, a sprawling 44,000-acre park with walking paths, lookout towers, and biking trails.
For those seeking a bit of excitement, attractions like the Nekoosa HoChunk casino, Wisconsin Rapids, and the Wisconsin Dells are just a short drive away, offering endless entertainment options for the whole family. Additionally, day trips to Spring Green, the Frank Lloyd Wright center, and the House on the Rock promise unforgettable experiences.

Overall a very clean place. Coffee maker didn't work. I think you really need to do some work on the approach to the fishing pier. That's an accident waiting to happen.

Well kept and clean. Plenty of room for parking our boat and two pickup trucks. Management was receptive to our issues and allowed for a last minute request to add an additional night.
However, we were disappointed to find out that the pier and dock were removed prior to our arrival. The dock was one of the main reasons we selected this property. Another disappointment was the lack of privacy. Two out of seven windows did not have blinds on them. Water pressure was poor.
Im not the type to write a poor review but unfortunately we didn't get what we paid for. I'm hopeful the owners find this review as constructive.
Cool little house that needs a few little adjustments and it could be worth a stay.
