Built is 1871, you instantly feel the historic charm throughout the condo with modernized conveniences in the kitchen and bathroom. The condo is ground level with lots of natural light. Exposed brick walls with original hardwood floors in the dining room boasts the history and warmth of the building. Only 2 blocks from Carroll Creek. Downtown Frederick is only a few minutes' walk to over 200 galleries, specialty shops, eateries, and thriving craft brewery scene.

One of the best VRBO places we have stayed. Can walk to everything, while also being just a couple blocks away from the very busiest of the downtown. The condo was upscale, comfortable, clean and bright. The owner responded immediately to a few questions I had. I hope to be able to stay there again on a future visit to that area.

Everything was fine, although the coffee machine gave up the ghost after the first week. The kitchen was well appointed, so cooking was no problem. I'd recommend this rental to others, and we would be happy to stay there again in the near future.
