House / Villa - BENISSABig house

We had a really good time! The Pool was amazing against the heat, it also got cleaned regulary. The house had AC so we also where safe from the heat there. The outside kitchen was wonderful too. Everything was well maintained. The Owner was very kind, accomodating, helpful and generally wonderful!

This is a very traditional Spanish villa and beautiful in and out. As a group of 10 of us, we can concerns with the pool, but it was great and a good size, for all of us to play Marco/Pollo. The outside area was perfect, lots of sun and even places with shades. Having the two separate houses worked great as we were made up of two families, with access via the external staircase. We loved the hot tub, and the outside eating area, where we had two BBQ nights. Highly recommend getting fresh meat from Pepe. We've stayed at many villas across Spain, and we all agreed this was one of the best. Restaurants were amazing, specially Momos, and the Fiddler pub was great fun.To end, Jose was one of the best hosts of all our villas we've stayed at and made our stay even easier plus helped us with typical tourists questions you would ask,,,,thank you Jose for giving my family a wonderful holiday. We will be back.

Honestly was the best family vacation we had ever! the house was everything and beyond. We love and enjoy many family time dinning "al fresco" at the outside barbecue kitchen area and enjoy the swimming pool everyday! the location is fantastic the house is huge and very well equipped ! just walking distance from few of the many coves that are near by. Also Jose, the owner and his father were very attentive and kind. We got many recommendations for the best Paella places around. My family and I had a very nice relaxing time enjoying the Mediterranean coast at Benissa, we highly recommend this place and we will repeat for sure!

The property had plenty of space both indoor and outdoor, with really well stocked kitchens. The outdoor kitchen was a great addition. There were a few bits that felt like it needed a bit of updating - where the pool tiles are lifting could start to cause a problem. There wasn’t air conditioning in one of the bedrooms (only a fan which was no use in the heat when we were there) and the listing states there is a double and king sized bed, although actually we only found one double bedded room and the rest were singles. We worked around everything, and generally Jose and his family were really nice, trying to help us with cabs (which we just couldn’t get) and bringing fruit some mornings. But we did have a bit of a situation mid way through the stay where Jose did get quite cross (could have been a mix up in translation) and talked about asking us to leave. This was in response to my saying I was disappointed that the sheets/towels were not being changed mid way through our two week stay and that an old coffee pot had cracked. His reaction at the time meant we didn’t feel we could raise anything else with him. We did recover from this and had a second good week, and he has offered to post back some jewellery that we left. The pool is bigger than the photos make it look and certainly enough for our 2 families to enjoy. There are a few restaurants in walking distance, and good supermarkets short drive away. It was a pleasant stay despite a bit of drama.
