The Maui Escape is located with views of the upper pool and the spectacular surroundings. The villa's location is the perfect combination of being close enough to view the pool but far enough for privacy. At night the ambiance from the lanai is breathtaking with incredible landscape lighting and tiki-torches scattered throughout the myriad of walking paths around the pool and spa area.
The Wailea Beach Villas nest in a sea of colorful plumerias and hibiscus, cascading waterfalls, two inviting pools, and beautiful tropical paths that lead to Wailea Beach and Hawaii's most incredible oceanfront boardwalk.
The Wailea Beach Villas is an oceanfront resort situated on 11 unparalleled and beautiful acres of lush, tropical landscaping while nestled between the Grand Wailea to the south, the Marriott Resort to the north, the 'Shops at Wailea' (which is considered to be the finest and most exclusive shopping location on the islands) to the east, and of course the world renowned Wailea Beach and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The Maui Escape, also known as Penthouse 110, is simply located in one of the best places on earth!
Take a short stroll and visit some of the many world class restaurants at some of the nearby resorts. Also visit one of the many fine restaurants at The Shops of Wailea such as Tommy Bahama's Tropical Café, Longhi's, Ruth's Chris Steak House or the Pint & Cork.
Our 2.5 bedroom, two bathroom luxurious unit, with more than 2,200 square feet of well-planned living space that includes over 280 square feet of lanai, offers an array of unique appointments such as custom wood shutters, granite and hard wood finishes, beautiful art, elegant bath and bed linens, and honed marble floors with well-chosen decorative carpets.
The Living Room has a Samsung HD 65" Flat Screen Television with a DVD/CD player and multiple movies to choose from. Each bedroom has a 60" Samsung HD Flat Screen TV as well.
The dining room includes a beautiful glass top wood root-based table with easy access to the kitchen and lanai.
We have a beautiful cherry wood queen size Murphy bed in den that serves as a third bedroom. The room includes 6 louvered sliding doors for privacy or for an open study area.
A Cordon Bleu chef would be delighted with the accoutrements provided in the well-equipped kitchen…a Gaggenau range top, two Sub-Zero refrigerators complete with beverage and freezer drawers, Thermador stainless steel convection oven with microwave, and a Viking gas grill on the lanai just to name a few. A shopping service is also available by request.
Complete with security personnel, this gated vacation paradise also offers two outdoor whirlpool spas and a fitness center with locker rooms and showers. With 'aloha' spirit the friendly staff provides towels, beach umbrellas, and lounge chairs at pool or on the beach.

This property is simply amazing. We highly recommend Wailea Beach Villas, which is the perfect location in a wonderful area of Maui. This penthouse unit is also fantastic. It is tastefully decorated, and conveniently located just steps away from the hot tub and family pool. The walk to the larger adult pool adjacent to the beach is only about 4 minutes away. This has a much larger grotto style hot tub and infinity pool that we used often. As guests of the Villas we were also able to use the beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach, which were set up for us by helpful beach attendants at no additional charge. (Other than tips.) The property was fully equipped with additional beach chairs and pool/beach supplies, including snorkeling gear, for visits away from our immediate area. All in all, it is a wonderful property and we would absolutely visit it again. Also, the owners are extremely responsive and very friendly so communication was never an issue.We visited the Shops at Wailea located just behind the property – about 3 minutes away. This is a lovely shopping center with restaurants, ice cream and coffee joints, upscale retail stores, and a nice upscale market and ABC liquor store. We also regularly visited the Whale'sTale, a great beachside place for coffee and hot snacks just outside the front gate of the property on the beach. They have the best and freshest banana bread in Maui – highly recommended!!

This was a week in Wailea with four generations of family. The Peterson's condo was a perfect spot for my husband, daughter and me. The property in general is really quite fabulous, and the unit is beautiful, well-equipped, clean, spacious. The Petersons are great communicators, from the reservation process through to the end of our stay. The staff at the WBV is wonderful - an added bonus. We come to Maui almost yearly, but this was our first stay in Wailea, and we will definitely return.
