I do think the outside needs some maintenance the decks are buckling trip hazards for people. We stayed there before and it seem worse than last time on the outside areas. There was trash and towels left outside . We picked up the best we could. But hope they take better care of outside it's a cool place.

LOVED our stay at Lake Escape! We had 3 families stay for "cousin camp", which included 8 kids ages newborn - 9, and everyone had an absolute blast! The kitchen is stocked with everything you'd need for cooking, plenty of sleeping space with beds and 2 huge couches, tons to do at the lake, fully stocked game cabinet, and the detached man cave was excellent for the adults to be loud watching sports and playing games late into the night while the children were safe and sound sleeping in the main house. Everything was cabin/lake house quaint; don't expect a 5 star resort from a cabin stay, more clean, functional, and orderly cabin vibes. We will be back for a long weekend for sure!

Our family takes a yearly trip to spend time together making memories. This place was just what we needed. The 15 of us had the best time acting like kids at the lake on the slip-n-slide, zip line & all the other toys available. We even got to have a fish fry with the fish we caught. If you’re looking for a place to make memories off the beaten path this is the place. It’s not a 5 star resort but it’s definitely a family & pet friendly memory making adventure. We are looking forward to coming back. Thanks for sharing your hidden treasure with us.

Where to begin. This property has so much potential. We stayed here last year and it was run down last summer too, but we decided to give it another chance. Whatever property mgmt company is overseeing this home, should be fired. So many things are broken/need fixing. The property is in disarray/does not look like the photos. Upon arriving there were virtually no essential supplies: no hand soap in the kitchen or bathroom, no paper towels, one roll of toilet paper only, no shampoo/conditioner etc. The kitchen is a mess beginning with the items in the cabinets (zero organization). A dead mouse in front of the refrigerator probably snuck in from front door weather strip that’s lifted up. At first, the house seems relatively clean. Move the couch and it's evident this place hasn’t had a good cleaning in yrs. 2 dead mice under the couches, a layer of dust/dirt and food crumbs (also the AZ Room). The main bathroom had a layer of dirt and debris underneath the see through foot pedal of the sink. How does a cleaning person not see it? Knobs on doors are broken (as they were last year). The ceiling fan in the bedroom had not cover for the light (broken/gone etc). Dryer vent not connected. The jacuzzi was GREEN and we had to buy shock tx that still didn’t make it usable after a week of being there. The man cave was stock full of cobwebs as it the exterior (need to spray and power wash). SUP, kayaks & pedal boats left in sun to rot and break. Should get a cleaning fee refund.
