Located in the historic Strathnairn valley just 5 miles (10 mins) from Inverness, this cottage is a family and dog-friendly retreat designed for relaxation and adventure. Accessibility & Family Features
Wheelchair Friendly: Includes a ground-floor bedroom and a dedicated walk-in wet room.
Family Ready: Highchair, travel cot, and safety gates are provided as standard.
Dog Friendly: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (please enquire). Bedding, bowls, towels, and a first aid kit for pets are provided.

Lounge: Cosy and spacious with a wood-burning stove and a dining area for 6 in a bay window. Patio doors lead directly to the garden.
Bedroom 1: Flexible setup (Twin or Super King), built-in wardrobes, and hairdryer.
Bathrooms: A good-sized shower room plus a separate walk-in wet room/drying room in the utility area.
Kitchen & Utility: Fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances; utility room features a washing machine, tumble dryer, and clothes pulley.
Upper Floor
Bedrooms 2 & 3: Two spacious rooms with flexible zip-and-link beds (Twin or Super King) and built-in storage.
Main Bathroom: Features a large bath with an over-bath shower and heated towel rail.
The Great Outdoors
Secure Garden: Fully fenced (lowest point 1.4m) with driveway gates for safety.
Views & Wildlife: Panoramic views of Daviot Church and the valley. Spot deer, Buzzards, and Red Kites from the front dining area.
Evening Ambience: Includes a wood-burning chimera for sunset watching.
Parking: Ample space on the private driveway.

Enquire first: Please let us know if you're bringing up to 2 dogs.
No Solo Dogs: Pets must not be left alone in the cottage (crates are available if needed).Clean Paws: Use the utility wet room to dry dogs before they enter the main house.
Garden Etiquette: Please pick up all dog mess from the garden and surrounding areas.

From our first contact with Susan, through our arrival and stay, our experience was enjoyable and exceeded our expectations. Beautiful, spotless, comfortable home with all the amenities. Warm and welcoming and well-located for exploring Inverness and the Spey valley.

The house was quite comfortable for the four of us. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook several meals. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This place was so comfy, cozy, and clean! Susan was a great host and easy to communicate with. The house was very well appointed and had great amenities. It was a perfect spot to get away from it all, while still being close to Inverness for necessities. 10/10, would stay again!
