Overlooking the evocative seafront of Marina Grande in Sorrento, La Grotta Azzurra is a charming independent cottage that offers a breathtaking view of the Gulf and Mount Vesuvius.
Immersed in the authentic and tranquil atmosphere of an ancient fishing village, the property represents the ideal choice for a summer holiday by the sea and relaxation, while remaining very close to the centre of Sorrento, reachable in just fifteen minutes on foot or in five minutes by bus.
The building, completely renovated in 2017 and furnished with impeccable nautical taste, is developed over two mirrored levels and offers the convenience of a double independent access, both from the ground floor and directly from the upper floor via an external staircase.
The ground floor welcomes guests with a modern and fully equipped kitchen, rich in accessories, flanked by a functional bathroom complete with a laundry area.
Going up to the first floor via a characteristic spiral staircase, you access the sleeping area, consisting of two comfortable bedrooms.
The first is a splendid double bedroom that opens onto a private terrace suspended over the sea, perfect for being lulled by the sound of the waves; the second bedroom has two single beds and also has its own panoramic terrace.
Designed to offer a worry-free stay in every season, the property is equipped with free and unlimited Wi-Fi connection and everything necessary for maximum comfort.
The Blue Grotto masterfully combines the historical charm of the fishing village with the most modern comforts, offering an authentic and unforgettable coastal experience in the heart of Sorrento.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
•Check-in: from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
• Late Check-in: for arrivals from 21:00 onwards, a supplement of €30 is charged. From 23:00 onwards, the supplement will be €50.
•Check-out: by 10:00 AM.
• Accommodation tax: to be paid on arrival, €4 per person per night.
• Parking: By reservation, it is possible to park at Cantieri Fratelli Aprea for €20/30 per day. The car must be collected on the day of check-out by 10:00 at the latest.

Love the location. Nice apartment. The only downside was the staircase to go up and down inside the apartment, and only one bathroom for 4 people. I would still stay here again. Worth every penny paid.

We enjoyed our stay and especially loved all the restaurants right outside our door and the taxi and bus stop so close as well. Pretty view from the room and nice to just walk around the area. Easy to get transportation and I liked the little store by us as well.

We stayed a few nights to visit Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. You could walk right out to the beach which was key for us. The property was a two bedroom one bathroom. Both bedrooms were upstairs and the bath and kitchen were on the bottom floor. Please note….if you have young children or elderly people with you….there is a spiral metal staircase to go downstairs. (This is the only reason we gave 4 stars on the listing because I did not believe the set up was clear in the listing.) The management was very easy to work with and responsive.

This condo was a great location in Sorrento, very walkable to the center of town and sits within steps of the beach and restaurants. The layout of the place is a bit odd, the bathroom and kitchen is on the first floor and the two bedrooms are upstairs. There is no living room for the family to gather in. The place suited our needs and location. It was fabulous to see the water and beach every morning from the windows. Antonio the manager was a great communicator and helped us with booking private cars for our day trips and provided great recommendations on things to do in the area and restaurants to eat at. I would stay here again.
