**TOURIST TAX**
We are required to charge a Municipal Tourist Tax on behalf of Loulé council, on bookings placed as from November 1st, 2024, as published in Diário da República 2nd Serie, no. 140, of July 22nd, 2024.
This tax is calculated up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights, per person aged 16 or over, and will cost as follows:
- Low Season (from November 1st to March 31st) – 1Eur per person/per night
- High Season (from April 1st to October 31st) – 2Eur per person/per night
The payment of this tax is due in cash upon check-in, or in advance by bank transfer.
House rules and suitability:
- Groups of youngsters and/or made up exclusively of individuals of the same gender may be considered and only upon request. Strongly recommend contacting us before booking, as we reserve the right to decline and cancel this sort of booking without a refund.
- Events and parties are not allowed.
- Pets not allowed.
- Smoking outside only.

The primary contact, Paulo has been absolutely first class. He has replied promptly and accurately to all enquiries and has been extremely helpful from first booking and throughout the holiday.If you are looking for luxurious first class accommodation this villa is not for you, however if you are looking for excellent value for money it most definitely is for you. If, like me you are of advanced years (old ) be prepared to either rent a car or use taxis and uber on a regular basis. Taxis are reasonable and uber are cheap and readily available.I will book again when visiting Villamoura

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was great. Pictures don’t do the place justice as it’s much bigger/more spacious than shown in the pictures.
Positives:
- much more spacious than shown in the pictures.
- They have everything you could possibly need!
- We all found the beds really comfortable

We had a good time at the property and we agreed to stay again. I was there with my husband and our son. The pool was just what we needed but I’d of preferred easier access as I’m little but I guess that can’t be adapted. We used the barbecue in the backyard. It’s a 15 minute walk to the lovely old village. We had a meal at nearby Cafe del arte. The service was great at the villa we had it serviced twice while we were there. All comms were good from Paulo.

Overall stay was ok and the communication was good with quick replies from the agency. The property is quite dated and needs some general maintenance and a real tidy up (towel rails literally fell off the wall, maintenance did come to repair these with stick on ones but these also fell off. Plus sockets were broken in the rooms, the air con swing system didn’t work on most of the vents as they were broken, one of the air con remotes didn’t work, broken glass was left in the outside area, the air con in the downstairs twin bedroom hardly worked it seemedto blow out warm air).Overall, we did enjoy our stay but I probably wouldn’t pay the price for this villa again due to lots of little issues which should have been resolved prior to the stay. The pool was lovely and was cleaned regularly which was a positive. It is about a 15 minute walk to the old village (up a slight hill).
